I have never ordered a 'warm chicken roll' and received chicken loaf that was heated up on a grill plate!!!! My husbands toasted sandwich was soggy also. Not much competition in the area and stopped in to support country towns on the Silo Art Trail and Lakes. What a big mistake that was. In response to the reply - the chicken was not meat but loaf and we ate at your establishment, so there was no delay with 'steam in the bag' making the toasted sandwich soggy! Also, my mistake when I wrote 'warm chicken roll' when it should have been 'hot chicken roll' - which it wasn't. All fried items are drained correctly so food is never oily. Large variety of fast food available. Also ice creams, chocolates and drinks - the thick shake machine is AMAZING, you have to try the selection of flavours! Clean and tidy premises with helpful and polite staff. Also sell cigarettes & lighters at reasonable prices. Don't feel like cooking then phone through an order and collect when ready - convenience plus!!! If you are from out of town, traveling through and hungry, then I recommend that you stop for a good feed, your stomach will appreciate it. I am not usually one who takes food back to complain but the disgusting "chicken salad" roll, fake chicken and very little of it, lettuce and tomato doesn't equate to salad and a stale bread roll that I bought today was awful. Took it back to tell them it was the most disappointing chicken salad roll I had ever seen and he tells me that is their standard and if I am fussy I should be more specific??? Never have I ever had to walk into a shop and say can I please have a fresh roll with real chicken, lettuce, tomato, beetroot, onion, carrot , need I go on?
