I'd give this one a miss!
We went in September 2024, decided to sign up to be a member because the food prices were insane and being a member gets you a cheaper meal. Filled out the paperwork and paid for it only to be told it would take 2 weeks and would be sent by mail which I now find unusual as all other members had photos printed on their cards. Fast forward to December 2024 and still no card. Emailed and was told there was a problem and that a card would be sent out and it would be valid till 2026 because of the stuff around. Right okay thanks.
Fast forward again to March 2025 thought great we are in Morwell lets go because we have membership now only to order food and drinks and not get member pricing because my membership was invalid! Wth! Then I explained how I was disappointed because of the stuff around getting it then now having to pay full price even though I'm clearly a member. I was then simply been made to feel like it was my own fault it was invalid and that their card reader wasn't working so they could do nothing. Not even a "hey come in next time and we'll fix it". Yeah very annoyed about this and the way staff handled it.
Now don't even get me started on the food. Ordered the char grilled steak for a WHOPPING $48 only to receive a pan fried steak that had grissle running through the middle, a chicken scallopini which was also $37 that was basically boiled chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce with some type of rubbery skin on it. We did let the restaurant know as we didn't/couldn't eat it and they kindly offered a refund for the main meals but seriously get it together. You charge top $$$ for sub par food and not even any table service! You have to pick up the meals yourself from the counter!
Definitely wastedy $20 on my membership and will not be visiting nor referring anyone to this place ever again and this is disappointing because as a kid it was somewhere where my whole family visited for all...

I ordered the $10 meal for myself and $48 scotch fillet at 1735 along with drinks and rolls. Finally arrived at 1815. Small steak unfortunately was tough and chewy with my Dad and I obviously disappointed as he was unable to chew it. Spoke to lovely guy at the bar, ? the Manager, for advice on what to do who advised be to speak to the girl who was taking orders. She spoke to the chef and I was informed that nothing could be done. No apology and no discussion forthcoming. I spoke to a male waiter who walked off on me and again to girl taking orders who reiterated that they can’t do anything. I’m now left with my cold meal and my father with nothing. I had no option but to reorder a $10 meal for my father, more soft drinks and garlic bread which arrived 50 minutes later at 1905 hrs (I was informed that as I had reordered a different meal we had to wait our turn and also the 45 minute wait sign for meals had been put up). Dad ate half of his chicken parma and left the rest as he said he was upset and tired after sitting in his wheelchair for so long and asked to go home. Guy behind bar offered vouchers as some compensation, $44 worth of gaming tickets and 2 $5 meal tickets which I handed back as we don’t gamble. I joined the Italian Club which is close to my father’s Nursing Home, as I believed it would be a lovely place to regularly share a meal with my Dad at. Disgusting attitude of both the chef and girl taking orders (Yes chef, I saw you through the opening near the register mouthing swear words and shaking your head when girl told you I wasn’t happy at having to reorder).    Read moreto patrons, new patrons, staff, proprietor, hello my experience at Italian Australian club, the staff very nice very polite, friendly, helpful, just arrived in Morell, and i was looking a place to relaxed, unfortunately i never got a chance to take my wife out for dinner, the reason why, because i have a dispute about the pay-out figure, it was a large sum, if it was small i would not worry, then i take to the day manager name josh, well he did not like doing this, 2 days later, witch a easy job he mad hard, and he end up baring me from the club I've been in the hospitality for 40 years, yes I've had to bard a few people in my time, usually for drunk, abusive, few other bad things for but never to a happy friendly person, but there is a first time for everything, so the moral of this story is don't ask for josh to do a complicated thing he will just get frustrated, then you get bard from the venue , to the staff sorry you have to work with him, I've worked with a lot of joshes (no fun),all the reports that i herd on the food is awesome cheers every body.
