Very mixed feelings about this cafe! We came on a day that was clearly very busy and the poor staff were run off their feet! They were quick to find us a table that accommodated 3 adults a toddler and a pram. How ever getting our order in took forever! After waiting over 30 minutes to have our order taken we had to go in and ask, we were told they were waiting on the rest of our party to arrive and would be out to take our order. Another 30 minutes went by…. Others had their orders taken. So we went in to order. The place was clearing out a bit more now and thing were a little quieter but over and hour later we still hadn’t received our meals. We had been there 2 hrs now, we asked how far away our order may be (thinking we may need to visit another venue, the children we getting restless and it have been a long time) a lovely young girl on the register spoke to the kitchen to track the timing. The chef reluctantly told her we were the next docket, while shooting some glaring looks. We came in twice more before our Order arrived, once to get some water for the table and another to get some cutlery. Each time was met with glaring looks and head shakes from the kitchen. How ever when we did receive our meals after 2.5hrs. They were delicious! Large portions! And we really enjoyed them, we could hardly finish our plates and were very impressed with...

I'm sure they had been busy for lunch, however there was 💯 no love or standard that came with our meals, not to mention we were made to hurry our meal to leave as they were turning lights off. I'm a local and very disappointed that was not...

We were not greeted by anyone at all, so we helped ourselves to a menu before deciding to just grab a couple of coffees to go. We patiently waited at the counter as one girl started to clear the cakes from the cake fridge with no acknowledgement of our presence. Another two women were in the kitchen cleaning down and just glared at us through the service window. We weren't made to feel welcome, so we decided to give our money to the lovely lady at the General Store...
