Max's on the Beach — Restaurant in Victoria

Based on our first time here I have to say that the customer service and communication is not good enough. My breakfast group of 5 all ordered a cooked meal except 1 who ordered a premade meal, the latter should have been the quickest to come out, but after 3 enquiries of its status after everyone had already finished eating and only getting replies of “I’ll check on it”, no explanation or apology, no priority to get the matter sorted is not good enough. It only came out when we got up to leave (and thus had to be put in a takeaway container), at the very least a refund should have been given. Please treat your customers with more respect than this...

Love this place just on the outskirts of Victoria! Sandy bank of golden Murray river where it curves in to NSW. You can spend a whole day out here snacking, sunbathing and what not! River is super shallow and if you want more deep waters to dive in it's just a matter of swimming into the centre of the river. You wouldn't regret deriving the distance to this hidden gem! There are paddle boat rides, skiing and a lot you can enjoy out here. There's a cafe and public toilets, showers so you could enjoy the sand and water the way you like it. My neighbour and I recently went to the beach cafe as we had heard how good it was.It was a beautiful Sunday and even though we thought that it would be busy and it was ,everything was done in an orderly fashion. We felt very safe there being that it was our first visit to an eatery during COVID-19. The food was beautiful ,the coffee lovely ,the ambience very pleasant. We would go again and look forward to going and taking her friends...
