Unfortunately we had a disappointing experience with our booking. I had arranged a 30minute wine tasting and then wood fire pizza lunch for 18 guests. Apparently this did not indicate I wanted a table setting so upon arriving we were rudely told “you could have told me you wanted to sit down” by the owner (even though I had booked 2 months out and paid a deposit for our lunch). My friends and I then arranged the table and chair settings ourselves so we could have lunch. Just thought I’d make it aware that if you book for a bigger group for lunch you must request to be seated as it is not a given. The wine tasting also does not come with any explanation of the wines, only “this is moscato” and as explained to me now we must ask questions if we wanted information about the wines. Seems slack when paying $55 per person. We did enjoy the pizzas and cheese boards but just felt the value of our wine tasting and lunch experience was excessive for what we received. Have discussed with management and agree details of what is provided in the wine tasting and lunch for a group setting needed to be discussed more throughly in the booking process so both parties expectations are met. I wouldn’t recommend for a larger...
Read moreA quaint little winery in the middle of no where (or it definitely felt like the middle of no where!). The staff seemed friendly and the decor inside the restaurant was a cool eclectic mix of retro goodies.
I'm not sure if we went on a particularly busy day, or things are usually like this, but we waiting 1h45m for 2 pizzas and to make things worse, our drinks weren't even brought out in this time. We didn't have anywhere else to be and we just killed the time playing board games, though if we were in a hurry, it would have been a massive pain.
It seems like the kind of place that there was no point seeing how far away things were, because everyone seemed in the same boat and complaining would have only increased the stress on staff when they were probably already under enough.
PIzzas were ok, though not worth the wait.
Plenty of open space outside to relax with a quiet wine in the sun. Probably not a bad place for an afternoon session if you're in the area and not in a rush to be...
Read moreThis place has so much potential, there were like two wines to choose from and they were very overpriced for what they were. Pizza was nothing special, also not worth $18. 3 others pizzas were nice, the cheeseburger one was gross, the dogs in the establishment that beg for your food wouldn’t even eat it which is funny. If this place had reasonable prices I know a lot of locals that live in the bush around that would go. We booked in advanced and waited a long time for the pizzas, the server kept walking away as you were saying what you’d like (I think to check if they had ingredients) there were only 3 other people in the venue. TLDR fancy prices for not fancy...
