First off, service was below average. It took 30 minutes before my table of four were able to order. It took another 20 minutes before the food came. Presentation wise, the food was good, however flavour is another topic. The Regional Platter had stale bread that was burnt. The cheese was mediocre and the sausage was salty, albeit everything else was alright. The Korean Chicken was the saltier than the Dead Sea. The glaze on the chicken was salty already, but the side of Kewpie mayo only escalated the saltiness. Additionally, the Calamari was sitting in a green sauce, which took away from the crunch. The sauce itself was EXTREMELY sour; it was really the only thing we could taste. The Barramundi was also average. The skin was crispy, but VERY salty. The Crispy Pork belly was the best (but still underwhelming) dish of the night. It was crispy, but the meat was flavourless. It came with a salad that wasn’t bad and a sweet sauce that was to my liking (I have a sweet tooth). The dish also came with a small fried meat that was mushy and flavourless. The fries were terribly average. Flavourless.

Overall, the ambience was very nice but service and food were lacking. Not worth the price. Stay in your room and have instant ramen.

EDIT: Hello all, I have done a review on Radius before and for those who have read it, it was quite grim… However, I always believe in second chances. My family went on a trip to Wilsons Prom and stayed at the RACV Inverloch resort.

Let's get to the meat of it. The service this time was better. They gave us 10-15 minutes to browse the menu, however it took 20 minutes for food to come out. Also, when refilling our glasses of water, they would have to get a second jug as it was never enough for 4 glasses. Weird...

For the entree we had calamari, chips and cheese pizza. Calamari, like last time, was far too sour, and I LOVE sour foods. It also lacked the crunch desired from a calamari. The chips were terrible. No crunch and no flavour. It felt like it was air fried (which is healthier, but let's be honest, we are here for the good food). The pizza however, was quite nice. Super cheesy and crunchy with a nice herbal flavour from the garlic and basil.

Onto the mains. One word. Average. We ordered a special sirloin and it completely missed all expectations. The meat was tough and chewy. As were the mushrooms. The green beans were overcooked and mushy. The sauce for the steak was well seasoned though. The gnocchi was even worse. Mushy texture and far too starchy. It was honestly sickening. The whipped ricotta had NO flavour. It honestly would have been better without it. The additional lamb shoulder was not worth another $9. Dry and flavourless. The sweet potato puree was nice however. Once again, the pork belly was the best, yet still underwhelming dish of the night. The bottom of the pork was crunchier than the skin. I REPEAT. THE BOTTOM WAS CRUNCHIER THAN THE SKIN. The texture was tough and it was honestly quite dry. Other than that, the secondary meat was crunchy and flavorful and had a nice texture. The sauce and the slaw were a nice addition. Refreshing and cut through the fat.

Finally, dessert. We only ordered one due to the underwhelming experience thus far. Once again, our expectations were far from met. The cheesecake lacked any sort of flavour and didn't have that firmish texture from a cheesecake. It was soft and gooey in the mouth. The ice cream was literally frozen solid. Other than this, the side of mango and rhubarb were nice to cut through the richness of the dish, as was the jam.

Once again, the ambience was very nice, but service and food were lacking. Not worth the price. Stay in your room and have...

I have booked dinner for 3 people for my wife's birthday 10 days prior to the date and also confirmed booking via a phone call a day earlier. However, when when we arrived the booking could not be found and we were told to wait in a bistro and hopefully to find a table for us although, at the time, the restaurant was less than half full. Eventually we were given the table opposite the entrance with a cold air coming in with an entrance door constantly opening. It took too long to order drinks and even longer to get them, just a minute prior to the entrees being served. Choices stated for drinks on the menu were not available for the beer and cider. Chicken wings and jyoza came cold and crockets came dark as they were most likely reheated in hot oil. Crockets were served with sauce (which supposed to be truffled capsicum relish) which looked and tasted like ordinary bottled sauce. Aioli served with chicken wings also looked and tasted like plain mayo. Two main dishes were OK: grilled chicken breasts and grilled lamb while vegetarian gnocchi looked and tasted old, each piece brown on one side indicating they were reheated in a pan. Gnocchi costed $36. When we declined any further drinks or deserts we were told that we would be handed the bill with an excuse that it needed to be checked and signed by us though we haven't asked for it yet. Do not bother...

Service is slow however food was great. Went to have our dinner while we stayed there last year December and to get in to our table was about 10 min wait. Restaurant was about 40% occupied when we waited at entrance. There were staff but no greeting or whatsoever for a while until one staff came and ask us to wait. We finally got table and decided to have on tray first but when we want to order, we were told that we first have to order drinks - thumps down. We like to have drinks together with food. Anyway we had our drink and meal ordered. We waited and waited for may be 45 min till my small daughter got cranky and I have to force her out so that we don't create a scene. We asked staff to provide kids meal first but they seems to be too busy to handle all the customer in there. Having work in restaurant before, I understand that it will take time but 45 min for order is not acceptiable. RACV Banyalla was very more better to handle the pressure.

Either the front desk staff needs more training to server quicker and better or they need to have extra chef to manage order queue for smooth expreience. Food was exceptionally good but if we go there again, will first feed our small one so that they can handle...

I had dinner here, and it has simply wonderfull. I ordered the cured snapper, the steak, and the barramundi. It took a little while for the food to arrive, but the taste made up for it. The cured snapper blew my mind, and it paired wonderfully with the Mexican chips on the side. The steak wasn't bad, and the sauce was great. The barramundi was also ok, and the sauce paired wonderfully. The price isn't that bad, but the mains are kinda pricy. The serving sizes were also good for their prices, and the food looks beautiful. Overall, the food was great, and the service was also wonderfull.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Radius overlooking the ocean through the double height windows (should have brought sunglasses). The food is extremely good and focused on the local area. It's nice to find a good quality restaurant in a rural area and I will go back. However, the service was not great. The wait staff were all helpful and friendly when they appeared but we didn't see them often enough and I found myself looking for them. Highly recommend the haloumi salad for entree.

The quality of the food was outstanding. Service was friendly, but it did take a while for mins to be served. The only dish that wasn't the best was the barramundi which was a tad overcooked and dry. Everything else was pretty finger locking good. Loved the lamb cutlets. Breakfast t the resort there was also excellent quality. But brewed coffee rather than machine. Lovely views outside.
