It's a big complex with motel rooms, bars and restaurants plus the golf course. The complex is impressive and looks very well maintained. The golf course has an honesty box when they are not open, prior to 10am and you need cash, you can't pay online. If they're open you can pay for golf in the bar, it's $35 for 18 holes, walking. The course is a typical country course, layout is ok with mature trees and not a lot of bunkers or water hazards. One aspect I didn't like is a couple of the holes have large trees that are on the fairway and block your shot to the green. Fairways are ok but grass is thin in some places and you don't always get a good lie. Greens are quite quick and roll ok plus they hold approach shots well. Fairways can be quite narrow and it's dry when you get off them. Clubhouse sits on top of the hill and you play down from there but it's not particularly hilly and I walked it easily.

The golf course is really nice..but the customer service here is really bad. Staff is annoyed about having to take the orders and even though we paid the full price for renting golf clubs, 40% were missing. If the staff gets a fresh up training - the place would be highly recommendable, but at this stage it's hard to enjoy the staying here. But again, there's room for improvement and with the right training this is a really good place.

So happy we decided to stay the night in Robinvale and enjoy a great meal here. Staff were extremely friendly and made sure we enjoyed our food. The golf course was a pleasant surprise and a joy to play (according to my partner). We returned the next morning for coffee and to play 9 more holes.

The lesson is “Don’t arrive on a Sunday afternoon”!!!!|Initially impressed by the lovely setting a couple of kilometres out of town but on arrival the front desk unattended. Eventually a young and obviously inexperienced staff member checked us in after some difficulties with the system. Entering our room it was unmade- so back to search for help. Our room was excellent. Spotlessly clean and well appointed with everything we needed. The big disappointment was the restaurant is closed on Sundays and the breakfast that we’d paid for turned out to be bread and cereal in a basket that we had to go back to the office to request. Having driven all day we didn’t want to go out but had no option. Ended up at the Euston Club’s 46 Restaurant which was fantastic- so good we wish we had stayed there at their resort motel on the beautiful banks of the...

We were coming from Sydney and arrived at 9:30pm. We try to book the room on the way and the staff said “No reception that late so I help to pay through credit card before 8pm to get the room.” She call me back and said my payment was declined. There was very bad signal on the way so I couldn’t make the payment. The I couldn’t show down booking with them and didn’t take the room. The day after, I was charged for a room. The told me this because i didn’t show up for the booking. So why they told me have to pay before I arrived, otw I wouldn’t get a room for check-in. But the staff still leave my card details there for charging the day after. You have policy but you don’t know how to train your staff...
