Terang Country Bakery — Restaurant in Victoria

We popped on at 10:00 on a Monday. They did a brisk trade, but we were served quickly and there were plenty of tables inside and outside.

The staff were super friendly and they worked quickly.

This is home to Victoria’s best pie - a beef one - and this is deserved. My beautiful wife loved it. I had a farmer’s pie - egg and cheese on top - and it was superb.

But the cheese and bacon sausage roll! Crunchy pastry without it flaking everywhere and a delicious centre. Remarkable!

This is my go to place when visiting Terang. The pasties are yummy, and the cakes filled with fresh cream ,the buns, the biscuits and slices ,even the hot chocolate. Friendly staff who patiently wait while you try to choose what you want to eat . I have not been disappointed with anything that l have tried and will continue to support this business when visiting so do yourself a favour if driving through and need a short break stop and have a look lm sure you will not come out...

This is a proper country bakery. I had a plain pie, which is hands down the best I have ever eaten. Loads of tasty filling and a great flaky but firm pastry.
