We (a couple) attended for the second time to use our voucher that they provided the first time as the first time they provided the wrong meal.
Tonight, 11 May, they bought one of our two meals to the table and that's where it sat for serval minutes while we waited on the second meal.
When the waitress (Team Leader) finally provided the second meal, she did not take the time to listen to our complaint.
Upon her return to the table the second time, she failed to accept our complaint in a professional manner, she walked off in a huff without resolving the issuse and she used the fact that my partners disability (GF) was the reason for the extremely late arrival of her main meal.
Disgusting behaviour. This review will be followed up with a telephone call to make a verbal complaint.
The Team Leader disputed the lenght of time the second meal arrived and I (the customer) actually had used the Stop watch on my telephone.
The meals may of been fine to eat had they been eaten when they were brought out but what kind of a male starts to eat his meal prior to his partner.
Twice I have attended this location in the last two weeks and twice the service has failed me.
And to think I was only there tonight because they gave me a voucher from their first stuff up.
The Team Leader requires further training in Customer Service at the very least.
The kicthen staff could of retained my meal under heat lamps until the second meal was ready IF THEY CANNOT MANAGE TO MAKE TWO MEALS to be served together.
I currently would not reconmend attending this venue based on the service provided on the last two occasions.
Back to Club mulwala next sunday, local money being spent outside of our...
Read moreOne star at best. I was in a party of 3 for lunch today. I selected sausages and mash from the seniors menu only to be told that the chef has removed this item from the seniors menu and is no longer available. I queried this as sausages and mash was still available on the main menu however was some $6:50 dearer, I passed on the main meal as I thought why is it available on the main menu and not on the seniors ? It’s not like they ran out of the ingredients !!! I was then offered the sausages and mash on the seniors menu but was told it would be a very very small portion. I passed on this and concluded that this is one lousy venue which we will never visit again. All 3 of us left without eating and went to the RSL where we had a lovely lunch. Good luck to any future patrons, just don’t ask for sausages and mash from the seniors menu. I think the chef is inconsiderate to patrons and arrogant. We don’t need to put up with this attitude, many other venues in Wangaratta to eat at where we would have been...
Read moreTried these guys out for Saturday lunch with the missus. First impressions I was expecting the place to be a little older and and more country pub feel with a name like 'Old town and country', this place had more of a bowling club feel to it. Quite a large dining room area and a big front bar too. Have to wait to be seated by a staff member but didn't have to wait to long. Food was very good! Cauliflower bites and prawn Gyoza for entree, both bloody amazing! Ejyptian Chicken sizzle for mains for myself and this was a real delight, it came out Sizzling a hot sizzle plate with spiced yoghurt and salad on the side, never had anything quite like this! A real culinary experience. The missus had the fish and chips with salad and we have never had batter quite so light, crisp and crunchy, fish was cooked perfectly inside, not soggy at all. Prices were not to bad either. We enjoyed our...
