I had the best, most welcoming experience here! I would love to give a massive shout out to chef Jo! We had driven 5.5 hours from Melbourne arrived a little after 8 pm, and the kitchen had closed. Nothing else in the area was open, and she could see how disappointed/ hungry we were. She then offered to make us some butter chicken, and it was SO tasty! And I’m not just saying that because we were hungry, it was delicious! Furthermore, all the staff were wonderful and let us stay to the end of the footy match, which was also greatly appreciated!

Arrived on a sunny Saturday to a cheery welcome from the bloke behind the bar. He was happy to suggest the local (Beechworth) brew. The menu was a mix of pub fare and a healthy selection of asian dishes and curries. We had the Grilled Snapper and the Malaysian laksa. Both top notch and completely unexpected from a sleepy looking country pub on the banks of the Murray. Thanks guys you were great.

Loved this relaxed pub by the Murray River in beautiful surroundings. Great service, knowledgeable staff serving local boutique wines and spirits. Upper Murray steak surf n turf with chips and salad was sensational. Was a great end to a day of driving and sight seeing.

Made the 1 and half hour trek from Albury to support a country pub as we saw great reviews. Absolutely horrified with the service, and the food was sub par at best. Waited over an hour and 10minutes for 2 parmi’s and 2 Korma curries (literally reheated and served with microwave rice). This is only upon asking the kitchen where our meals were after about 50mins. There was no apology or understanding upon bringing this to the attention of not 1 but 3 staff. If you’re going to work in customer service, learn how to do it. Lift your game. We will not ever be returning. At least you’ve...

Despite the fact that this is the only pub in town, don't let my five stars fool you. The food is of an extremely high quality and the chef is to absolutely be commended. The views are absolutely spectacular, can highly recommend going in for an early dinner and beer before the sun goes down. I had the beef ribs and my partner had the grilled barramundi with a garlic cheese pizza to start. Both were absolutely spectacular, and the owner is extremely friendly and full of local knowledge. If you are passing through or staying around the valley area, you cannot go wrong with a visit...
