Wahring's Restaurant — Restaurant in Victoria

Stoped for a brake off the bikes, and where please we did. We got service with smiles, food was lovely and there is plenty of places to sit and relax. I had avocado 🥑 and poached eggs on toast. Very fresh & yummy. I asked for a cup of tea, and got a lovely little tea pot and tiny jug of milk. But the tea tasted like i had put salt in it, so the lovely ladies took it away and came back with a new pot and a cup of tea made with a tea bag, said this is a taste test, as they wanted to know if there new fandango water purifier worked or if it was something else. It turned out it was the water & only tea drinkers can taste it. She offered my money back, but i asked if i could just have a bottle of water instead. It was a bit of fun. They will get the problem sorted. Also there are lots of lovely things to buy there also. If only we had a car, not a motorbike. Thank you ladies for your wonderful service...

This was quite a surprise for a service centre stop. The atmosphere was just amazing. It was very clean and peaceful. Tge staff were happy and helpful. The food range was great. We had a lamb wrap and a chicken,cheese & avo focaccia which were really yummy and very nicely presented. Also the price was quite reasonable compared to other cafes. There is a lovely gift shop there too and the tables & chairs in the cafe were modern and refreshingly clean. It was lovely compared to most service centres where the tables are half grot. So well worth stopping here for a break, a meal, a look at the gifts and just a quiet refresh time on your drive. Thank you for a lovely place to...

Great little gift shop and cafe attached to the service station. Gift shop had lots of cute homewares, accessories, jewellery and gifts which were quite reasonably priced. I spotted some very unique Aussie themed gifts/homewares which would be perfect to send to Overseas family and friends for Christmas etc. Decent range of food and drinks available however these seemed to be a little pricier than the exact same product sold at the adjoining service station store. The only negative aspect of our visit was the lengthy queue to purchase items (my mum waited in line for 15+ minutes!) while staff members stood behind the counter chatting...
