Where do I start From the moment we walked in we were greeted like family by the young lady hostess (so sorry I didn't get your name) A small entre and then onto the main course. My wife and I both had the fillet Mignon... it was succulent and obviously cooked with love and attention The last time I had decent fillet Mignon was in Sydney in 1992..... well this one not only beat it but set a benchmark that will be hard to beat. Desserts The apple strudel was a masterpiece of pastry and the chocolate and Cherrie liquor would be hard to beat at any metropolitan restaurant.

There is no atmosphere to speak of, felt like a mine site mess. The restaurant opens at 6.30pm, we ordered at 7pm. There were no pizzas left, no garlic bread and one chicken parmigiana. My fried rice tasted like it had been kept in the fridge and reheated, the prawns were like rubber. One couple left because they got sick of waiting. My t-bone was cooked to perfection, not sure why but even the chips were a little bit extra special, and for very reasonable prices. Made my stay at the motel, which was also very nice, something to remember. But even if you aren't staying there Rivergum restaurant is definitely the place to eat in wagga.
