We stopped in for dinner on Saturday night. Sat out the back in the lovely beer garden with our dog. We had the area to ourselves. The owner came out to say hello and welcomed us which was lovely. The menu was extensive and food was delicious. Best seasoned, and cooked chicken schnitzel I have had for ages, it was huge too. Chips were nice and crisp and even the salad was good. Nice fresh mix and dressing, not just green leaf 😊. The staff were very welcoming as were the other patrons. All in all a lovely, relaxed experience!

Stopped here on my way back to Sydney, and camped in the overnight area out the back. Had the t-bone, salad and chips. Steak was cooked to perfection, chips and salad were awesome. Tooheys Old was cold and free flowing. Service with a smile from the attentive staff. Highly recommend stopping in here if you can. Pub has been renovated recently, and looks a million bucks.

A Great Pub. Rustic Atmosphere, with Friendly Family Style Service. Good Pub food at very reasonable prices. This Steak, Chips and Salad, with a Soft Drink, less than $31!!! A real Gem in an out of the way place, good to stop at on a trip somewhere or just go there for a day out.

Me and my husband road trip from Warwick down to Sydney. As the only food place out of almost nowhere this little hotel is a keeper. The owner and the wife were the only staff I suppose, with one or two local old gents visiting, watching a cooking show at lunch time. Very proud history since 1970s, I wouldn't say it was a warm hospitality but we could indeed feel their down-to-earth life style and such a local laidback greet. Menu was simple, food was no fancy but yes okay like chips, schnitzel and steaks. They had a quite standard bar, suited the principle that reglass less food you have to have good beers :)) Overall a genuine abstract of the local's real life....

A lovely country hotel offering good meals, friendly service and many options for sitting/dining. The bar staff were great, nice to meet people who genuinely smile, making you feel welcome from the time you walk in. The hotel was fresh and clean. A real bonus for us RV owners is that they offer parking behind the hotel for self contained RV’s. If you take them up, please support the hotel to ensure they continue to offer this great service and they are there for your next visit. The only reason for the four star on the food was the meal was good, but nothing out of the box. Would I go there again…...

On our way back to Sydney after an exhausting fossicking day. Needed a good meal. This pub delivered! We gad fish & chips & salad for $18 each; best I’ve had in a long time… & I don’t usually like fish! Batter on the fish was perfectly crunchy without being overdone, chips were crunchy, salad was not just normal boring tomato & lettuce - added red onion & small cubes of beetroot. The venue is renovated to modernise, with several roaring log fires - very welcome on a cold winter’s night. Friendly locals & publican. Worth a stop on your way past on the New...
