Im not one to whinge but this place is close to my workshop so freqented often enough , my most recent experience was the worst , as a customer to walk into a store and stand at the counter for OVER 10 minutes with no acknowlegement at all , with several staff making eye contact momentarily but still choosing to say nothing , at 3.30 on a sunday afternoon so it wasnt stupidly busy , a couple workers were working hard , one in particular but no leadership at all , with several just floating around at a snails pace . At the point of wanting to yell out SERVICE PLEASE or walk out eventually a young lady served me and i made it a point to say wow you guys too so long to serve me and i just got a blank stare and silence , so i just placed my order but wanted to say a lot more . Im not sure if Hungry Jacks provides ZERO training on customer service or if its just a generational thing where the young generation of today have little idea how to converse with people or even say a basic sorry for the wait . It seems all focus is placed on the menu logs of the world and drive tbrough and walkins are an inconvenience , jeez Hungry Jacks lift your game , this experience was super frustrating . Service was very average, items missing from order, while in drive through we said we were missing items, they said no, it is in with the kids meal. After driving out further inspection revealed missing items still missing, Went into the store to rectify the order where we noticed a very unclean front counter and a coffee machine that was very dirty that I’m glad I didn’t get a coffee. I also noticed salad trays under the counter not refrigerated.
There was a staff member throwing soapy water all through the work area floor, would be very slippery for the staff at a pretty busy time 8pm I wonder what their workers compensation claims are like if that’s how they operate. They may copy the McDonalds menu items but they definitely don’t copy their policy and procedures.

Read moreWent to drive thru in the morning as we were coming from somewhere. We went through drive thru because didn’t had enough time for cooking. Ordered 3 cheese toasties, their Manager Milan took the order, we received t and take it home. When we opened the toasties packaging, 2 toasties were without butter, all the burnt pieces from tbw toaster sticked to the bread. Took it back and Milan said nothing’s wrong with and upon arguing its missing butter well, we were told butter is not in the recipe but butter is in recipe infact. He said do you want refund? I said it’s not about the refund, our time had wasted, we need new one. Milan said you got to wait few minutes as there are already 7 customers waiting ahead of you. We said you should’ve cooked our food on priority as this had already wasted our half an hour. Refunded the money for the toasties but not really happy with the service and behavious from Milan.
