I have been visiting this cafe daily for a week and a half. Julie and her team have been friendly and helpful. I always felt welcomed here.

They make their own pies on the day and as needed and I can say the mushroom meat pie tasted delicious, with the flavours of the mushrooms punching through. My favourite lunch was the pumpkin salad; beautifully presently and so tasty. The souvalakis were another favourite. Coffees were pretty in their pour and milk not burned that would otherwise lead to bitterness.

The Cafe is inviting and colourful. There’s a back garden which would be nice in summer. The wall art and framed art are by a local artist and still a work in progress so at the time of this review, there’s something new to discover. There’s some memorabilia for space fans too with newspaper front pages on display of Neil Armstrong landing in the moon (not to forget Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins plus the...

I understand that cafes will give backpackers and tourists a free coffee or discounted lunch in trade for a 5 star review. This cafe, however, is past due for a fair and honest review. I visited 24 Karat four days in a row. I ordered the same coffee every day, a Late' with almond milk. I was given a different coffee every single day, without fail. (Not one of them was a close) I found the staff cold and uninviting. On my final visit I ordered my coffee and this time, white toast with honey. After waiting out the back for 20 minutes I went inside to follow up on the order. I was then told that they didn't have honey. 20 minutes I'd sat waiting! If I hadn't gone inside, I really don't think anyone would have told me. This is a really, really badly run cafe with super unfriendly staff. This might be because they don't have any real competition and don't feel the need to try. The homemade...

Have stopped for a quick bite many times previously. Recent return trip Mildura to Melbourne we were ready for a late lunch. We rang through our order ahead for 3 people so that we wouldn't have to spend so long there. Gave them our estimated arrival time and at least 20 minutes prior notice as it was after 2:30 pm. We sat down, beautiful food came out about 5 minutes later. Hamburger with lot - superb, pumpkin salad- delicious, baked potatoes- yummy. Couldn't fault anything. It was not busy at the time we arrived, if it's a busier time and you want to ring ahead suggest you give them more notice. We love this place. The best part though , we can take our whippet out to the back...

We stumbled across 24 Karat Cafe as we were passing through and what a lovely place it was. Friendly service, great coffee as well as egg and bacon rolls. We met Len doing some amazing art and had a great chat with him. The work he is doing around town is just beautiful. Thanks for the hospitality. Wedderburn is a surprisingly lovely town, and we will definitely be back as there seems to be a bit to do here!
