Chop Chop Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Western Australia

I gave this 1 star only because If I didn't I wasn't able to post my review. I would in fact rate it a 0. I ordered from this restaurant tonight for the first time. Upon arriving at 6.28pm to pick up my 6 dishes I was told that if I was paying by card I would have to wait as the machine had been taken with the delivery driver to deliver an order. After waiting 20 minutes for the driver to return I paid for my order ($58.20 not cheap) and was given a half bag of prawn crackers and two cans of coke as an apology for the time I had to wait. I took the prawn crackers but left the coke. I expressed my unhappiness to the staff with the lack of service especially being my first order to the restaurant. I arrived home at 6.54pm to discover that all of the food was cold. One of the dishes I ordered was satay chicken but received 4 chicken skewers with a small container of satay sauce instead. The chicken green curry was extremely spicy. The prawn crackers were disgusting and inedible. All of the food was well below average. None of my family were happy with the meal at all. A total waste of nearly $60.00. I phoned the restaurant to advise them of my further dissatisfaction and was asked what I wanted them to do about it. My answer was nothing but I wanted them to know what I thought of their food and service and that I would not be returning ever! In hindsight I should have gone with my first instinct and walked out and went...

I only 1 star because I could not give anything lower. I ordered on the phone and told 25 minutes to pick up. I arrived to collect after 25 minutes, then told another 10 minutes. I paid for the food and went to wait in the car, after 10 minutes I went back I'm to get the food only to be told it still wasn't ready, and then to find out that the order had not even been started and would be another 10 minutes. I waited another 15 minutes while many many delivery drivers came and went with other orders. I went back in to collect only to be told at least another 5 minutes, at this point I was sick of waiting and asked to speak to the manager as I could see the poor girl on the front was a bit stressed and it totally wasn't her fault. The manager didn't seem to have a care in the world that I had now waited nearly an hr for food that I had already paid for, he didn't even have the courtesy to come out of the kitchen to discuss with me but wanted to talk through the window. He did come out after I demanded he refund me the money as the store credit he had offered would have been pointless as I will never ever be returning. Which is sad as I had enjoyed this store many times before but tonight's customer service...

I’ve been here a few times now and I have so many raves! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful- the chef and kitchen staff are also amazing.

The food… I can’t rave enough about their soup. This is my go to spot for Tom Kha and Tom Yum. Many places throw noodles in with takeaway which just sucks up the broth and makes it kinda awful on delivery.. these folks leave it as all broth and it is DELICIOUS.

The honey sauced chicken gives a unique spin on an Asian classic and it’s not too sweet. Their spring rolls were great- but the sweet chili sauce was next level with spice. Highly recommend!

We have eaten at the restaurant and had takeaway and delivery and I have never been disappointed. Can’t recommend...
