Ordered the garlic bread, crispy pork, sirloin steak and chicken parmi. The garlic bread was great value for money $10 and we got 6 various sized pieces. The dishes were large and well portioned. The chicken parmi was nice, juicy and not overcooked. Definitely would have it again. The sirloin was cooked medium and would have again. The pork was slightly overcooked, and a bit thin. Wouldn't order it again but worth a try. No jelepeno poppers unfortunately as they were out so definitely coming back to try some other items on the menu. Venue had a great atmosphere. We booked inside for 3 and had a minimum 6 person seating arrangement. Plenty of room and comfortable enough around larger tables of people and still felt somewhat private. From seating and ordering to eating was about 45 minutes. Not including early delivery of our garlic bread starter, even though it was very busy it didn't feel like that long. Drinks are cheap and plenty of pluses. Extra plates, cutlery, serviettes, take away boxes and containers available as needed. Great friendly service and nice chatting to the staff. Definitely will come back again. ** edit: we have come back on another two occasions since this review and it's definitely one of our favourite casual dinner places. We can also recommend the pizza.

Great hidden location. Great friendly service, which then reflects back onto the clientele that visit. Highly suggest that you need a reservation for the venue. Tables inside, others are alfresco style benches with water misters plus picnics style tables and a play area away from the main area ( so the children can play and only come back when hungry or thirsty) Far enough away to not bother the parents , but still close enough for parents to keep an eye out. I myself am not a beer drinker, also will not drink and drive. So I'd recommend that you have a designated driver before visiting. Menu is varied, I had the vegetarian gnocchi. Looks mall, but suppresses the appetite. My only concerns were that there wasn't a spoon ( I'll bring my own set, next time) and a little too much oil left overs there wasn't any bread to soak it up. The group I went with only had half the attendees attend. I was going to have the fish and chips, but it didn't seem pleasing enough to my taste. Overall I'd attend again. Also there's plenty of parking available ( unmarked bays) and a pleasant drive from the south.

I drove past this place whilst on a drive and brought my family for Sunday lunch and its a hidden gem in plain sight. The food is well made with very generous portions. I had the steak and mash, my partner had the lamb pizza (something unique for us) and our son had fish and chips. We shared buffalo wings. The pizza was amazing!! Fresh oven baked! Best I’ve had in a while, my steak was outstanding. I also had one of the tasting trays of craft beer which are a must for any beer lover (it’s a brewery btw) There’s plenty of seating both inside and outside under the cover and various seating areas for groups so they can host parties as well. Very family friendly so the young ones will enjoy it just the same maybe have a bounce. We had a debate as a family about how to rate this place, I was out voted as both my wife and son wanted 5 stars, I was only going to mark down because of the car park and walk way from the car park to the restaurant. Can you guys please do something as it’s a challenge especially in the rainy season! We are so glad we found this place and we will never stop coming !

King Road Brewery has to be considered one of those "Hidden Gems" in Western Australia. Located less than an hour from Perth CBD, it houses a modern taphouse, indoor and spacious outdoor dining, multiple bar facilities and is considered family friendly. It is perfect for family gatherings, birthdays and events whilst still maintaining copious amounts of space for everyone else. But I know what you really want to hear about, it is a brewery after all, so let's chat beers. Recently KRB took out a trophy for their IPA and having tasted it, one can understand why. They've utilised the relatively new hop "Strata" in a way that promotes both the mandarin and strawberry flavours found in the hop whilst achieving a grapefruit rind bitterness on the finish. The Pilsner? Quite refreshing and easy drinking. Generally I hate Pilsner's, I consider them a "whatever" beer but this is quite good and perfect on a hot day. The stout, sitting in mid 5% ranges was full of flavour and a surprisingly thicker mouthfeel then I thought it would have at that level of ABV. The restaurant itself offers a solid variety of pizzas, burgers, salads, calamari and various share plates that I am sure most people would enjoy. The food itself is of the same high quality as the beers. Great presentation and great flavours. It is also worth noting that the bathrooms have change facilities for babies if required. All-in-all it was a great experience. Having never been to the venue, I thought it would be a lot smaller but was surprised by the sheer size of the venue. It is well worth a visit and for us, a return visit...

Have been to long road 4 or 5 times now and everytime I just love it. I can not emphasise enough how family friendly it is.

A singled out sand pit for the kids to play in or the designated play ground that has a boat, ute, tractor, JetSki, a 2 seat swing, a fort, the list just keeps going. My 4year old loves it here, begs for king road when ever we suggest where to go for a meal.

The food is delicious and fairly priced. Always leaves you full and wanting more. A selection of kids menu items that comes with an icy pole and juice is really nice. Again my 4year old love this as a bonus for after her meal. Pizzas are wood fired and delicious, pulled pork pizza is amazing. Also highly recommend the fish tacos 🤤 very nice! There is a slight wait on food but when a venue is amazing everyone wants something to eat to make a day of it.

On tap...where to start?! A nice selection of on tap king road brewed beverages that leaves you wanting more. No heavy bloated feeling just delicious and fresh. If you are unsure of what to have they do a tasting paddle as well which is always a hit. Cider, ginger beer, lager, kolch, pils, ipa.....the list can keep going just like the roadies they sell in growlers or by the can.

Venue is just divine as well. Beautiful lush grass, out door gas heaters multiple undercover areas and inside area. Spread out as well so it’s not too loud.

Absolutely love this place. Everything just works well and it is extremely...

So so so disappointed with our visit to King Road Brewing Co. I had an evening table reserved which for two people we were seated in a main thoroughfare for the tables behind us, constantly bumped into as people walked by us with their food and drinks. When we finally found out table (not guided by staff) the reserved sign was blu tacked to the table that hadn't been wiped down from the previous diners, crumbs and food still on the table. As first time diners we had no idea about the ordering system, or where to order or that we would be given a buzzer to collect our own meals from the restaurant. It was confusing and there were no menu's available anywhere...I had to ask another table to use their menu?! It was very loud in the restaurant, no sound buffering which made it difficult to hold a conversation and children were allowed to play soccer and bounce the ball inside and next to the central fireplace? Finally ordered drinks, a simple lemon, lime and bitters was post mixed like it was a soft drink and my husband's beer (Red ale) was flat and lost the head within a few minutes. The steak sandwich was very average with cold chips, the sliders were good and the wedges were your average store bought variety. We left within 40 mins of arriving and left very disappointed. We honestly thought with all the hype lately, we'd be in for a real treat. Alot of room for...
