Hi, we have been visiting Maleeya's place for over 10 years and the food has always been wonderful as well as the service. The last time we went for luch at Maleeya's place was on Saturday the 11 /1/2025 and we were not disappointed. I am Thai, and I can tell you that her Thai food is a traditional Thai flavor. They go as far as growing their own Thai vegetables and herbs such as Holy basil and Thai eggplant in order to keep the flavor authentic. We alway like to know where our food comes from, and at Maleeya's place we can ask them anything about their food with out feeling like we bother them. Their meats are organic free range, their vegetables are from their organic garden or from organic local farmers. Peter is a very knowledgeable restaurant manager, if you have any questions regarding the food or local attractions , he sure will get out of his way to answer it. We keep going back to Maleeya's place not only for her food, we went also for Maleeya and Peter hospitality. They both are wonderful people who will looking after every customers that come to their door with good food and a wonderful heart warming service. Please give this restaurant a try if you are after some authentic Thai food and...
Read moreSadly we did not enjoy our meal today. Sauces had very little flavour. The menu said sticky pork ribs, they were certainly not sticky ribs, a very bland watery sauce. When ordering I asked if they could serve the PadThia noodles without the prawns and chicken as we would just like them without them and was told yes they could. When they arrived they had the prawns and chicken mixed in and I asked why did we get this when I asked for the noodles to be without the prawns and chicken and was told this is how you serve PadThia noodles? I said when ordering not to put them in and was told no problem? It's not like they have it ready made up as they pride themselves in cooking all the meals fresh? Sadly they were not cooked and were leathery and chewy.
We eat a lot of Thia food and the PadThia noodles can be served with the meat etc or you can have them without.
We were so looking forward to the food we had always had here for the 15 years we have been coming to Albany and to your restaurant. Have you employed a new Chef, it certainly did not taste like...
Read moreIncredibly fresh Thai food in the middle of nowhere. Lots of the ingredients grown on site and some for sale too for the avid gardener, which my wife is! Spring rolls are truly excellent, so light and flaky with lovely filling but get there early as they often sell out quickly. Curries are full of flavour and they will make them Thai hot if you are that way inclined, which we are. However, they are generally made on the mild side. Peter is great as front of house and looking after the customers. Always a great experience here and the food goes superbly with local byo wines, especially the rieslings and the eponymous gewurtztraminer from Duke's! Do book well ahead as it's always busy even on the...
