My wife and I had two meals at the club. On the first occasion my wife ordered the crumbed whiting, chips & salad. Although the whiting came out of a packet, the cook cooked them as requested. I ordered the rib fillet medium, chips and salad. The steak was extremely fatty and overcooked. The salad looked like it had been prepared earlier and was very tired. On the second occasion my wife had the crumbed whiting again. I did not want the chance of another fatty steak, so ordered the chicken schnitzel with chips and salad. When I was about to pay for the meal I queried the amount to be paid. I was informed the salad was $6. I wasn't prepared to pay that amount for a small fresh salad, let alone the prospect of receiving another wilted salad. When the meal arrived, the schnitzel was not a freshly made one but a commercial prepared one. Overall on both of our plates there was not one item that had been prepared by the cook. Yes! There was one item and that was a small piece of parsley.
