Really interesting and somewhat secluded spot, away from the main area of Mandurah and right by the water. This place would be beautiful in the summer sitting outside watching the dolphins, but was still surprisingly fine to sĂt outside during winter, thanks to their double layered sheeting / mesh around the outdoor seating area.

The food here was very good, and very reasonably priced. It was fairly classic Australian brunch food, and the menu was big without being too varied. The menus themselves could do with a reprint but that's obviously very minor.

The coffee was delicious, and the latte art very impressive. They also had nice tea and so clearly take their drinks seriously.

Unfortunately the staff member (who seemed to be a manager) really damaged our visit as soon as we walked in, by repeatedly speaking to us in an unusually rude way. As an example, after informing us that the only available tables were outside, I asked the (not unreasonable) question of how it would be sitting out there, to which whe replied "it's all we've got". A younger more friendly member of staff was quick to jump in and clarify that it was well covered, saving us from leaving on the spot. The manager was in a better mood a few minutes later and seemed perfectly happy for the rest of the experience, but her attitude in the first 5 minutes made us feel unwelcome and unwanted. I'm hopeful that this was just a one off, and will give the spot another try before deciding as the rest of the visit was very good.

A high hair was available for our little one, as was ample parking, and most of the staff were...

Nourishing the Soul Cafe, is situated on the water next to Creery Wetland Nature Reserve and away from the busy main area of Mandurah.

The cafe has a super view over the estuary & canal but unfortunately the dolphins were a no show today. Dining outside would be superb in the warmer months.

A good cafe menu with all-day breakfast choices and daily specials. Also options for vegetarians and vegans. Aromatic, hot coffee with a good range for the non-coffee drinkers too.

Delicious food that's reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our order today was - • Lasagne • Shepherd's Pie • Vegetable Soup with Cheese Toastie • Malaysian Chicken Curry • Beetroot Latte • Rooibos Latte • Cappuccinos We decided to share the Pancakes with syrup, berries and Coconut yoghurt - for sweets - which were fluffy and scrumptious!

A very popular cafe with locals and visitors - we recommend booking, especially on weekends. Pet friendly...

Ah, mate! So, I've been gliding along the coast, as pelicans do, and let me tell ya about this spot called Nourishing the Soul down in Mandurah. Crikey, what a scene! This cafe's got that laid-back coastal vibe, and it's buzzing like a pod of dolphins on a good day.

Now, this joint is always abuzz with retirees—they flock in like seagulls after a fisherman's catch. The coffee here is top-notch, a real brew that could wake a sleeping whale. And those breakfast sandwiches? A pelican's dream snack on the fly! But listen, if you wanna perch outside and catch the sea breeze, you better flap your wings and book a spot. It's like a feeding frenzy out there!

Overall, Nourishing the Soul is the kind of spot a wandering pelican would recommend—a good feed, a lively crowd, and the salty air. Just watch out for those cheeky seagulls eyeing...

After a walk in the Creery Nature Reserve it was great to pop in to Nourishing the Soul Cafe for a large flat white made with oat milk. A very friendly staff and clientele. A chap at a nearby table even photobombed our wefie. Nice to sit outdoors with a view of the water, with options to sit inside as well. Plenty of parking for those on wheels. This place is a wonderful hidden treasure off the beaten track. Vegan-friendly.

This cafe is tucked away- a total hidden gem! They have several vegan food options (all quite good!), and a lovely atmosphere. The coffee is good, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The only reason I knocked off a star is because they don't have internet... but, if you bring a book or come with a friend, this a really wonderful place to relax with a beverage and some breakfast :)
