Family have been dining here for over a decade . Food has always been quite reasonable. One very important factor that I must point out is that of the hygiene level, particularly in the (ladies) toilets. It is appalling to say the least. It’d be interesting to know if it had ever passed legal hygiene standards . I’m a firm believer of ‘filthy toilets = filthy kitchen’. Can’t imagine what state the food preparation area/kitchen is in & the amount of pest activity .

She DOES NOT welcome her loyal customers If you don’t have a booking she will make it EXTREMELY BURDENSOME to organise a table! If you’re lucky enough to be sat down (this has occurred several occasions early eve approx 5pm) she will ensure you order IMMEDIATELY as ‘your table in particular’ is reserved for 7pm. Even if there are only one or two other parties dining in & the remainder restaurant is EMPTY. She will get the waitress to hurry you along. Referring to our last & final visit, we were still finishing our mains & the waitress came over to us numerous times to rudely advise ‘you need to leave!’ In conclusion of the disgusting manner in which we were treated & the absolute worst experience we’ve ever come across at any restaurant in Perth, for my father this is expanding over 40+ years & he dines out regularly, she stomps over to the exit where she’ll wait with a scowl on her face for us to pay.
We will never step foot in Seacrest Village Chinese again nor will we order/eat their food . Wongbat should’ve closed her restaurant years ago if it makes her that miserable. Really does leave you with a sour taste in your mouth, some may call it...
Read moreWe have struggled to find a decent Chinese restaurant that reminds me of my childhood. We often find that other places are too sweet in their sauces and the sweet and sour pork is normally 80% batter . This is not the case in this review
We ordered: special fried rice chicken and cashew sweet and sour pork
The rice was perfect and has the right amount of combination ingredients, veggies, meat and prawns(shrimp) with a slight charcoal bbq flavor from the wok firing I assume. the chicken and cashew was cooked well with the right amount of chicken and cashews the poor was lightly battered and cooked well and the sauce was sweet but also had some bit too it
Highly recommended if your looking for a decent Chinese takeaway like the...
Read moreDecent overall but most of the dishes are very similar in ingredients and taste - there isn't a lot to distinguish a garlic chicken from the chow mein for instance. It's expensive for what's on offer.
Add to this the fact that we've been told that a prawn crackers are no longer included for online orders because 'the commission is too high' which is pretty insulting on a $110 order. Don't use the online services if they're not viable but don't punish the customers for it! It seems small but there's no shortage of alternatives and these things are the difference makers.
Will be going...
