I recently had the pleasure of dining at Haystack cafe in Wangara and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The cafe specializes in serving authentic Indonesian food, and they definitely delivered on that promise. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the inviting aroma of spices and the warm ambiance of the place.

The menu at Haystack cafe offers a wide range of Indonesian dishes, each prepared with care and authenticity as well as some western breakfast items. I tried their Nasi Goreng and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and the portion size was generous. They also have a variety of vegetarian options, which is great for those who prefer plant-based meals.

One thing that really stood out to me was the fair pricing at Haystack cafe. Despite the high quality of the food and the inviting atmosphere, the prices were reasonable and affordable. It's refreshing to find a place that offers authentic cuisine without breaking the bank.

The service at Haystack cafe was also top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made sure to provide recommendations and answer any questions I had. The wait time for the food was minimal, which is always a plus.

Overall, I highly recommend Haystack cafe in Wangara. Whether you're craving authentic Indonesian food or simply looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a meal, this cafe ticks all the boxes. With its inviting atmosphere, fair pricing, and excellent service, it's a gem worth visiting. It can easily be mistaken for a simple lunch bar, but I will assure you it’s...

I was in Whitfords area and wanted to try famous Haystack Cafe near here. I arrived at off peak hours around 1.50 pm and ordered Nasi Goreng which comes with chicken satay. After about 10 minutes, I was served by crispy pork and rice which I don’t even know this item exists in this store. I told the man that served me this is wrong order and he went back to check with other man took my order and come back and asked me if I am sure I do not order this, I don’t even know they have crispy pork and how can I order. They said it’s a special item in store. I am the only new customer at the time order and I am not sure how can they mixed up with order.

If you have trust issue with the customer, you shall invest in POS system which can generate proper invoice. I do not like my Nasi Goreng and satay also. Maybe my mood is already no good 😅

Although my dining experience wasn’t good, they do have small playground at the corner. Place is good for family friends meet up.

My order was taken by older man and my dish was served by younger man. Younger man replied my reviewed and advised he is the one taking order. Please check your CCTV if you keep argue...

Best cafe in the area by far! Went there for the first time yesterday, from the lovely young man who served me, taking the time to repeat my order back to me to check everything was right (I wish more places would do this), to the quality of food, my oat flat white was great and the wrap amazing, I think it was called Tasty Bacon wrap and they weren't wrong! They served quickly as well which when you are on way to work really helps. Great service, great food and coffee, great value, what more could you want? I will be back for sure (is worth getting up a bit earlier to drive the extra...

Last time I ate at the Haystack, they were in Lansdale Farm. That was a couple of years ago. But I'm pleased to say, nothing has changed. Super friendly staff when I walked in. Chilled atmosphere, calming music. I felt relaxed. Ordered and sat outside. Within minutes my coffee arrived. Admittedly they were not busy. Minutes later my Eggs Benedict with Avocado arrived. Great serve, shouldn't of eaten it all, but it was so good. And I had a walk back to Prindiville Dr to pick up my car. Definitely be making the detour to the Haystack again.... Cheers guys...
