BEWARE DONT ORDER THE GARLIC PRAWNS

Had the pleasure of having to order another main for myself and a work colleague after we had both initially ordered the creamy garlic prawns as a main each. Highly disappointed that it came out with only six prawns and a price tag of $36. The "menu manager" tried to tell me that it was because the prawns are larger then average. (She obviously doesn't get out much) as they are no different then most prawns around the country! Then she informed me that it was out of her hands as the chef sets the menu ( well you better down grade your title luv) the obviously needs to get down of his pedestal and back down to reality. Fortunately the other food was adequate and the prawns were nice but sour taste of paying Main price for an entree size...

It was a quiet afternoon and only the two of us were at the bar. We politely looked at the menu and even said a friendly ‘hey’ so the staff, who was facing the other way, knew we were ready. However, the manager in a black dress turned with a cold face and said, ‘Just be patient next time, okay?’ She then treated my friend (a native English speaker) as if she couldn’t understand her simple drink order, while smiling warmly at other customers afterward. I have been here once before and the food was fabulous. Not sure what happened this time but a very disappointing meal had by 3 of us. I took 2 work colleagues so I was a bit embarrassed. The food looked good and presented well. My guests both had the rump steak at $39.00 one had garlic prawns an extra $9.00 that was not the best. Both steaks were tough. I had the sticky pork ribs at $ 38 a bit pricey for what you got. I found it smothered in too much barbecue sauce that overpowered the ribs. They were not sticky either.
