I really wish I could say nice things about this place as it's a local and we are in desperate need of places to eat around here. However, the food just doesn't hit the mark and the price point doesn't justify what is being served. I have been here several times and each time have been disappointed. The small selection in the front window is basic at premium cafe prices. The burger I had was below average with poor quality ingredients, similar to a deli grab and go burger and doesn't justify the $22 price mark. The patty was tense and grisly, the cheese not melted and ingredients basic on the lower end of quality. I don't think the patties are house made and seemed re-heated, along with the Mac and cheese which was dry and old - definitely didn't taste recently fried. The chip salt was a nice touch on the chips however. Breakfast was basic once again and left us questioning the value, especially compared to places like 8 Yolks nearby with similar pricing points, or the Quarry, which has amazing quality burgers and food at similar prices (most of which you can get on special during their weekday promotions). As quiet as this place is they don't do anything to seperate themselves from being generic to pull people in, instead I find myself driving out to much further places to get better quality...

I'm a regular here for their coffee and food. The atmosphere is usually a pleasant addition to my visits. However, I must admit that I've noticed the prices are somewhat on the higher side for both the food portions size also there coffees use to be bigger cup size. Regrettably, there have been occasional issues, ranging from inconsistencies in coffee quality to an incident where I received the wrong order. What made matters worse in this instance was that they were aware of the mistake when they served it, yet they still brought it to me and inquired if I would accept it. This left me feeling uncomfortable to the point where I even felt compelled to apologize for requesting the correct food order. They took the food back, but the experience was far from welcoming. It also meant my partner had already finished his meal before mine was even prepared. That all being said, I believe they need to make a lot of...

We ventured from NoR to try this quaint and funky local gem in Hammond Park. We ordered the steak sandwich served with sourdough bread and chips and the Green Lovers (We forgot to take a photo of this). They were served a short time after ordering, were very well plated using fresh ingredients and the portions are pretty generous, that we struggled to finish our meals, but because the food was that delicious, we had to finish it…. Even though we were full, we got a bit greedy and we couldn’t have come all this way without trying the bakery specialities, so we ordered coffee macarons and chocolate fudge which were made by one of the owners. Both treats were to die for.

The food is certainly made with pride and love and the owners are very friendly!

Definitely worth the drive. See...

First time we tried the cafe on a drive down south and it's safe to say it'll be our regular stop off from now on! Great coffee and delicious food. We got takeaway and ordered the most boring thing on the menu too (bacon and egg rolls) so I can only imagine the menu food is even better. I saw it being brought out and it looked amazing. They have the biggest menu of specialty lattes I've ever seen, will have to try one next time. I'm so glad we happened to find it as it's in a nothing residential area. Ten out of ten, we will be back for sure!

There are many brunch meal option to choose from. I ordered veg sh#t, I was not expecting to sh#t myself after finding several chili slices in my plate. Maybe I missed the chili bits from reading the menu. I was sweating from the chili heat and hot weather at same time. The coffee is pretty good. I would recommend to fry the halloumi to crispy instead just putting chunks of pieces on the plate. Overall, it is enjoyable meal. I had better brunch somewhere else with the same price in Perth, Eastern coast and UK. So, I will give it 3 stars.
