We went out on a detour to get here, but boy was it worth it. Friendly "baker" blokes would greet you with a smile and give you the run down of whats available and would even take the time to explain to the details of their produce. Come at the right times of the day and they'll tell you to hang around a for a few minutes so that they can pull out the freshest bread for you - hot off the rack. We had a chuckle when we asked "how long do the bread last". His response "To be completely honest, for many customers, they usually only last from here to the car. By the time they reach the car, they finished their loaf and need to come back to get another one!". He was right, we returned back from the car and got three more just to get out of the area - they were that good!
Place only does bread, dont expect a restaurant or cafe - bring your own accompaniments to go with if you want to enjoy the bread hot out of the oven. Surrounding wooded area to the carpark were pleasant and there's large tree stumps to act as makeshift tables to...

The treats were yummy the custard jam pod thingy was Devine. But having a savory preference that day, I absolutely adored the rosemary salted twisted kind of croissant - sorry I don’t remember the names. Delicious. I ate while driving and got flakey crumbs all over myself years since I’ve done that it was so so good and absolutely worth the detour and the late night car vacuuming session!! Thankyou so much I gifted the triangle loaf of rye called the rock to a rye...

We love this bakery for the fact they use biodynamic flours, we come back each time because of the amazing quality of the bread itself. We generally favour the denser rye styles but cannot resist the fruit loaf, which is choc full of figs and sultanas and spices. It also toasts beautifully with a really light crust that is super crispy (slathering with butter is mandatory). Timing is essential - first bakes come out mid afternoon but the fruit loaf is only available after 4pm. Their bread is available in other locations, but we really enjoy the trip out to the...
