Yogi Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Western Australia

Pre-booked table for 6.45 pm for 6 people. The table was laid for 4, extra plates were inserted. We were all present and ready to order at 7 pm. 2 of us had pre ordered due to food allergies, Pam had been very helpful on SMS. About half full of customers. Hot plates were brought. The meal eventually arrived at 9 pm, the plates were cold by then! My friend with allergies found her meal contained a food to which she had an allergy, she mentioned this and it was confirmed and suggested she push it to one side. Not really good enough! The food was delicious, my first taste of Indian cuisine, a lot of sauce with my mango chicken. There are NO TOILETS at this eatery! I had to go out and find one in the Shopping Centre; definitely not good as a female at night. Despite a very tasty meal the wait was far too long, the place had emptied before we got our food, despite other people coming in after us. There was no mention of COVID19 precautions and I was horrified to watch a new table being laid by the staff member holding the forks, by the eating end, with their unprotected hand! I would normally rate my experience a 5 star here but tonight was not acceptable and I would rate it a 0 if I could. I ordered my meal through menu log knowing this resturant delivers its own food. After waiting 20 minutes I called the restaurant to get a time update on how long the order would be. A lady on the phone said the driver was heading to another drop off then would be delivering my food giving me a 15/20 minute maximum time for arrival. After waiting 45 minutes and speaking to menu log help my order finally arrived not even hot. I ordered food for the rest of the family when the lady on the phone said it would be 15/20 minutes till order arrived. All the family had finished eating before I even recieved my food. After chatting with the Menulog team and they had spoke to the resturant and I received a 10$ voucher to say sorry. This incident ruined our only takeaway night as a family and 10$ does not justify the service. I would like to add the delivery driver was very polite and happy.

They dont care extremly dissapointed that i wasted my last 55$. I wont be back, its a shame because i used my last money buying 2 currys and 2 rices thinking id have dinner covered until pay day. Thanks to yogi watery sause that wasnt mixed in. The meat had no flavor. It was like sombody just poored water and spice into the container and threw the same meat into both currys. I ordered a rogan josh and a vindaloo. Both tasted the exact same. The nam bread was garlic it had so much garlic on it it made it un edible. I don't understand why they would make such poot quality food.

Ps. I called and complained. The manager was deeply apoligetic and will be speaking directly to the cook. I have been offered a remake of my order. I will update it once i have tried it.

They replace my meal and they looked alot better than what i recieved the night before. But i still cant justify changing my star rating as the sauce was still to watery for my liking.
