Rambla Bar & Bistro — Restaurant in Wickham

Meals are good, over priced. Good size, descent menu selection.. Venue is to loud. Music is played to loud, forces people to talk louder. Chairs are uncomfortable, tables are unstable. Needs redecorating. Inside and outside is boring. Toilets are dated and dirty. They don't get cleaned often enough. Don't have enough staff, bar and kitchen. Venue is to small for multiple functions. Building was not built for initial purpose. Was sposed to be club house for all the sports teams and be able to house/sleep visits visiting teams etc with shower, toilets etc. Instead they built a TAB. Just what a town like this needs. More alcohol...

Update - Family friendly? Not a chance! Music playing tonight @ 7pm was Gangster rap and uncensered pop with all the hardcore swear words. If your a responsible parent avoid this place with kids. - You'd think with all the bad reviews these guys would lift their game but nope... Arrogance of it all. Slow service... Food was good but unfortunately very slow over 1 hour wait. Seems like the orders just get punched thru so the poor Kitchen staff get slamed.

No direction when walking in, not sure where to go. No wait staff, Its Order at kitchen bar. Self serve style, they give you a beeper like when you order in a food hall shoping centre and pick up your own cutlery.

Wouldn't mind it if the food wasn't so expensive. Very relaxed vibe, the staff are friendly and accomidating so can't fault them but the system could be...
