Ripper little cafe in Wilcannia! Shona, Conrad and the crew are doing an amazing job feeding locals and tourists alike with affordable filling menu options. Had a classic Mixed Grill for dinner and was surprised to see it arrive on 2 plates, but it was plenty of food for the price they were asking. Little did I know the next morning our entire touring support crew dropped in for Breakfast, so I enjoyed another feed with a Bacon and Egg Roll and I finished our journey to the area with another one the next day. The homemade Rissoles are beautiful, one of which was in the mixed grill...but I would recommend having some as a mains meal choice. All the staff were friendly and accommodating, there is a range of beverages and sweets that are well presented at the front of the cafe.

Unfortunately, coffee taste is really bad. I asked for a large long black. They charge a fortune. Its $8.50. It is not a problem. I understand there is no other coffee shop around. But, you can make better coffee. Instant Nescafe powdered coffee even would taste better than this. Shop has toilet and bathroom facility. People are kind.

The is place has a lovely location right across from the darling river. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely and super helpful. The food was fast and delicious, plus the menu had a huge variety this place is definately worth the stop off the main road. totally recommend 😄😄😄

Fantastic cafe. Very friendly owners and staff as soon as we walked in. Great choice of food, the Big Breakfast was BIG and excellently cooked and the avocado on sourdough the freshest and best we've had in Australia. The coffee was ace, the local art on the walls a pleasant surprise and the friendly chat about local history and artists was enlightening. A great, relaxed place for truckers and families alike. Don't miss visiting this cafe if you're passing through....
