SANJOS Pizza-Pasta-Wings ( Wodonga ) — Restaurant in Wodonga

As a vegan, I was thrilled when I saw the range of vegan pizzas on the Sanjos menu. I tried the "Parmy Pizza" because it had a vegan chicken substitute on it and I loved it. The second time I ordered it, the Parmy arrived without the chicken substitute. In the same order, my husband ordered the "Farmer's Market" and received some kind of chicken pizza instead. Fortunately my husband eats meat and was able to eat the pizza. We phoned to explain the mistake and received apologies and assurances it would never happen again. So, Friday night we decided to have pizza. I went the Parmy again, and AGAIN it came without the 'chicken'. We phoned to complain about my pizza and the girl simply said, "Oh sorry". You know what, Sanjos? You came on with such promise. Your menu was exciting. But your constant stuff-ups, not to mention a lack of genuine remorse or attempt to ensure the stuff-ups don't keep happening has worn me down. Never, ever, EVER again! You've seen the last...

Few reasons for the low score. Firstly websites states you are always closed for delivery and pick up. I called anyway and was told you were definitely delivering. Once we had worked out what we wanted I called back to place the order and had to call 3 times before anyone answered. Ordered the BBQ chicken and Hawaiian along with the cheesy garlic Turkish bread. Was told 45 minutes to an hour for delivery but waited an hour and a half on a Wednesday night. Turkish bread looked more like flat bread and could barely even taste the garlic on it. There was a very small amount of chicken on it and it was soaked in BBQ sauce which made it soggy. The Hawaiian was definitely Hawaiian with what looked like a whole pineapple on it. I’m honestly surprised by all the negative reviews. Their pizza is hands down the best in Wodonga that we have tried (and we’ve tried them all.) In saying that, we’ve had a few issues with our orders being mucked up, but I gotta say their response to those have been amazing. My husband called to complain about one of our orders being wrong, and the owner apologised profusely and gave us $100 credit to give them another shot. I’m glad we have, because their pizzas are so good. We’ve ordered weekly without issues every since. Oh but tonight they messed up on a “half and half” pizza, and so the owner made up another large pizza for free and sent it with our order along with an apology. What great service. Keep up the...
