They don’t put cash transfers through the system , so just make up a price in their heads. I questioned how a drink and bacon and egg roll cost $20.50 as the board said $12 for the bacon and egg roll, that’s when she tried to tell me it was $8.50 for a drink! After She finished belittling me about a few $ she offered me a refund but I told her got keep It and won’t be back! Watch your change people
Edit. So to reply to your response, it seems that not only are they dishonest with the price of the food but they are dishonest about the situation too! After the female staff member belittled me because in her words “it’s only a few $$$” I turned down her offer of a refund and told her I just won’t come back, her reply “oh for god sake it’s only a few $$” There was absolutely no swearing and the fact that you could accuse some of that and taken the word of someone who was just caught out over charging, says more about you then it does about me! As a local I will not be back, trying to justify your staff overcharging then belittling your customer for calling them out is next level!! There is a reason why the locals are turning our backs on your food truck! Can you tell us how many price increases you have made in the last 12 months? You’re aimed for tourist that’s why you charge such a high surcharge on weekends and public holidays, all while working out of a food truck that offers no seating and has no rent! $20.50 for an average bacon and egg roll and a drink is taking the micky! I’m sure this is not the first time your staff member has overcharged and definitely won’t be the last., Happy to meet at the food truck to call your staff member out on her lies as I just live down the road? When she admits she lied to you, I would like a full apology. Let me know what time you would like me to meet you??
Edit 2 So after emailing the address given, I believe it was the owner , I have now received the money back in the form of a donation to Beyond Blue. She was not interested in getting to the bottom of why her staff member lied about the situation which was disappointing but...
Read moreI heard about their B&E roll, so I stopped in to purchase it with a hot chocolate. Mouth of word was correct with my interaction. Hospitality was A grade, great communication skills with client as they where smiling and stayed in conversation with the client whilst food was being prepared. B&E was perfect with no complaints. There was an asian girl working and she was disconnected, flirting with and distracting her male coworker. When i went back up to the stand to get a straw, I waited for 2 minutes which is alot for a food truck with no customers. The Asian girl was bludging and her male coworker tried getting her attention to serve me because he was busy. But instead she completely ignored the fact there was a customer waiting and continued to flirt and play coy with him. I don’t appreciate this behavior especially in first-hand customer service.
