I held a baby shower here a little over a month ago. Lovely venue and food but had a few issues with service. We had to follow up a few times to find out if our booking was confirmed for the event as staff had been on leave leading up to the day of our event.

On the day there were a few more issues. We paid for a drinks tab and were told when we arrived that people could only order coffee for the first 15 minutes of the 3 hour venue package. Guests attempted to order coffee in the short window however the coffee came out to the wrong guests so those who had ordered missed out. When I enquired if our cake delivery had arrived staff were unaware of the previous discussions and we found out at the start of our event that our cakes had not arrived.

During the event the staff appeared to be hiding out the back as guests would be waiting to order drinks at the bar for some time.

In our event information we received, the venue had announced staff would begin clearing 15 minuted before the end of the venue hire. We were 1.5 hours into a 3 hour event and staff began clearing the high tea. When I enquired regarding the event pack up already, it was tense conversation with push back. I had stated that I had not had a chance to sit down and eat at that point and was informed that I could just eat from the take away containers. As the clearing had already started by the wait staff at that point, our guests began to leave halfway through the event.

I had booked for a serviced venue to reduce the stress of hosting on the day. Unfortunately this had lead to a more stressful outcome. I was hoping we may recieve an email or survey post the event to express these concerns however we have not received anything.

I would like to express that when we have attended the woolshed for breakfasts or lunch we have always been pleased with our meals hence why we chose the venue. I would reiterate that the room was set out beautifully and the food was amazing. Our guests were happy. I am just disappointed at how the service made the event stressful for...

So disappointed I have been to the woolshed so many times and the food is amazing. However I went to get a takeaway coffee on a Sunday there was a lot of people there but there was also a lot of stuff. I waited 15 minutes for 2 takeaway small coffees and they still not made. Customers who was seated who come in after I ordered my coffees we're getting there coffees. I then asked how much longer as I have to be at an event. I was told it could be another 10-15 minutes or so, I then asked for a refund I will not be going back I'm so disappointed. There was more than enough staff. All the staff to seemed to be walking around. There was also another occasion where I was dining in and got completely ignored. We had to wave down the staff who were just walking around and walking around to place an order. They said OK i will come back another 5 minutes later and finally I waved another staff...

Absolutely gorgeous High tea (served on different platters rather than the tower to cater for my friends food allergy) . Presentation was delightful, staff were attentive and charming. The standouts were - the scones were the best I have ever tasted (floaty dreamy creamy puffs of lightness ) with indescribably good cream and home-made jam .The little rubarb lemon and rose cheesecake was to die for and the pinwheel with basil and tomato chutney and other mouth-bursting goodness had me sighing for more , the salmon brioche was mmmm , the lemon meringue was mouth melting.... and everything else was lush and lovely with clear and distinct flavours. It was one of the best high teas I have ever had (and they pack the left-overs for you...

We recently dined at the woolshed and had a wonderful time. They were kind enough to donate player of the match awards to our U7 girls soccer team and the children thoroughly enjoyed their pancakes and milkshake. I had a sneaky bite of the pancakes and can understand why. They were delicious. The rest of the group ordered from the menu and everything from the nourish bowl to the big breakfast not only looked, but tasted delicious. All staff were very friendly but also professional and handled our large group really well. We will definitely be back. Photos attached are the nourish bowl with steak (which was cooked to perfection) and the weekend special which was a croissant with bacon feta rocket and a side of hash browns

Good place to stop for breakfast after leaving Sydney. Great coffee and food. The staff were friendly and attentive. Arriving Sunday morning around 9, all inside tables were in use or reserved. As walk-ins without a booking we got a table outside. There is a bit of traffic and aircraft noise when you're outside. Glad we found this and avoided the bigger crowds further down the highway at Berry.
