I came past for takeaway but no one came to the window. So I just took a menu to come back and order. I wished they had more pack deals that had discount. I know that there no major shops for 30 minute drive but I can not believe the prices for the dishes. Cheapest dish is 23.90. Plus servings of chips was 8$ for a tiny cup. I may need to win the lotto if want to come here again. I won't be coming back. Way too pricey

Harry's Chinese/Australian is a fixture of Wooli and reflects the character of the village. It's a must go to for anyone visiting the area looking for a authentic experience. Wendy and her husband who took over from Harry over 20 years ago are legends and sure know how to cook all the classics. Don't miss out on the Duck and Prawns.

Step back in time and into quintessential country NSW with this Chinese restaurant in the local bowlo. Typical menu dishes you your expect. Decent servings and tasty. It’s not going to blow you away but it’s good enough for where it is.

There is not a lot of choice as far as places to eat out in Wooli. We tried Harry's Place as we had read somewhere it was the best Chinese that someone had ever had. The menu covers most of the bases and despite the weird ordering through a hole in the wall, we were hoping to good things. As I said, there is not much choice in Wooli. The food was essentially tasteless which really is surprising for Chinese. If you took the food away so as to add soya, ginger, garlic it would come up alright. The food is basically good, fresh enough and the meat was of good quality but I say the flavour was lacking.

I had a sweetcorn soup and that I would avoid unless you like eating wall paper paste.

I summary we would go back, get takeaway and make the...

Firstly... To the city knobs who think the food is overpriced... This is a small town with 2 dining options... Not 20 restaurants in the same street all scrambling for your business, so lower your expectations! Ok. So now that is out of the way... Harry's was recommended to us by a local. I must say it was a bit hit n miss though. The fried rice and honey chicken was amazing. Like next level amazing. The duck not so much. The stir fry combo... not so much either. The food was really quick from order to plate, and the local waitstaff were up for a good laugh. Overall I'd say it's better then average. It's definitely not Asian fine dining that some reviewers seem to want to compare it to, but it's better than most small town Chinese...

We were visiting Wooli and went to the Bolo for a meal. Harry’s is the Chinese restaurant inside the Bolo venue. We were a party of 3 and ordered a variety of meals. Sweet and sour pork, the steak special and a chicken meal. We also ordered some spring roll starters. The meals were all dreadful and completely inedible with undercooked chicken and slimy steak strips. We paid for the meal in advance and chose not to risk getting sick and simply left the venue. I am not a fussy eater and this is the first time I have had to leave a restaurant without touching anything on my plate in my 42 years. The meals were all consistently terrible and I would highly recommend giving this restaurant a miss if you are...
