Was asked to eat outside with my young child and nephew on a cold windy day as the tables had just been cleaned inside.
Was then confronted with criticism when I attempted to help an elderly couple take chairs off a table so they could sit and eat a meal. The older man was struggling and at risk of falling with the 4 stacked chairs he was trying to get down.
This was all done by the owner who is taking advantage of being the main bakery in a very small town with very bad customer service.
Great food but hindered by bad leadership.

Hi Darren, Thank you for taking the time to respond. That sounds like a kind thing to do and I am sure they appreciate it.
If the area was not to be entered then perhaps you should have signage that indicates this. I did mention this yesterday and your wife stated that the couple should have had common sense to know not to try and lift the chairs down.
Observing costumers approached me after and expressed their support for my good deed and stated this type of customer service is common at the bakery.
All in all my only intention was to help an older couple get 4 stacked chairs off a table safely within your premises.
Please view this feedback with good intention as an area for reflection and growth.
Enjoy...

The service is not good, the bakery closes at 3pm, we arrived at 2.10pm and before we could order we were told âwe close at 3.00â and the coffee machine was turned off. Whatever was left in the cake section was being taken out of the cabinets and put away somewhere, customers came in after us and wanted cakes and were turned away even though they had them. There are signs up everywhere, signs on the rubbish bins, signs on all the cabinets and display trolleys informing you that it is a display trolley and they are constantly vacuuming around your feet if you dare to sit at a table. Their attitude is quite rude, and I think they dislike anyone who is...

The bread and bread rolls are displayed in the left as you walk in. All prepackaged and it seems as though they have come from somewhere else. It turns out that everything is made there. We bought a couple of pasties and sweet treats. They donât have plates if you want to eat inside. You eat from paper bags. We werenât sure if we were allowed to eat at the tables or not. The person serving certainly wasnât rude but just very unhelpful. Everything was delicious but we didnât get that...
