A nice place to stop on the Oberer Höhenweg between Alpbach and Inneralpbach. The tables are situated on the terrace and lawn with good views. Although other meals are served, we arrived later in the afternoon so settled for a drink and cake. Served warm this apricot cake was lovely and at a decent price.

Wir waren mit der Seilbahn oben und wollten uns noch etwas Leckeres am letzten Urlaubstag hier gönnen und sind mit dem Fahrrad ca. 5km von der Talstation entfernt, steil bergauf durch Alpbach gefahren zur Jausenstation Wurmhof. Dieses kleine Restaurant hatte eine super Bewertung und das können wir nun wirklich bestätigen. Der Kaiserschmarrn bekommt 5Sterne plus und das Wurst Käse Brot sowie das Speck Ei Brot ebenso. Gäbe es 6 Sterne, würden wir diese vergeben. Es ist total urig hier und die Zeit steht still. Der aufwendige Weg hat sich mehr als gelohnt. Wir kommen gern wieder. Dank auch an unsere E Bikes 😀

Wir sind mit zwei großen Hunden und Kindern aus Alpbach zum Wurmhof gewandert und waren ca. 90min unterwegs. Das Ambiente war klasse, sehr familiär und die Aussicht wunderbar. Der Hof ist leicht zu erreichen, der Weg als kleine Strase asphaltiert. Das essen war sehr gut, wir hatten Kaiserschmarrn, Germknödel und die Gulaschsuppe! Für eine Pause bei einer Wanderung absolut zu empfehlen! Bis zum nächsten Mal!
