Kurtis Cafe & Bakery in the tree house — Restaurant in Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee

I recently visited Kurtis Cafe for a breakfast break while driving back to Germany. Overall, my experience was just okay. If you are looking for a quick breakfast, this may not be the best option for you. However, if you have plenty of time to spend, there are nice breakfast options available.

The cafe has plenty of seating options available, so finding a spot to sit was not a problem. I also appreciated the fact that there was a toilet available on the 1st floor.

Although the cafe has potential, there are some areas for improvement. The service was a bit slow, which may not be ideal for those in a hurry. Additionally, the breakfast options were not as diverse as I had hoped.

Overall, I would recommend Kurtis Cafe if you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. However, if you are in a rush or looking for more diverse breakfast options, you may want to consider...

Wednesday morning 8 o'clock, the place was almost empty, but still every table had reserved signs on it. The stressed out waitress gave us a table anyway. Thanks for that. By the time we left, the other reserved tables were still empty... The small breakfast came without butter, their breads are not crispy fresh (like you would expect from a bakery), but had a spongy soft texture. Coffee was good. Croissants tasted a bit 'industrial', but that might be just my taste. We took a few breads from the bakery section along the road, but didn't have them. Driving home and wanted a quick bite to ease the hunger before getting on the autobahn. Very interesting building. Beautiful wood with a shared apoteke, cafe and sports clothes shop under 1 roof. Cafe was divided into 3 sections, one in the center under the big roof, outside and inside by the bakery. We ordered latte and toasted ham & cheese. Delicious mild coffee, hot and tasty toast.
