Waldtratte mountain restaurant — Restaurant in Bad Kleinkirchheim

We loved coming to this place for many many years and we knew and respected the owners, a couple who did beautiful job and created nice atmosphere.. but something changed for the worse since our last visit. The waitress from Slovenia took upon herself to introduce us to the worst balkan coated swearing that we could not beleive, and persisted doing so throughout our meal. The food was all from deep freeze, the cheapest kind possible and overpriced to the bone.. if you like yourselves avoid this place at all cost. Shame on you. There was 11 of us aged 16 to 83, so three generations and we paid over 400€ for a lousy so called meal that would cost less then 70€ in Billa were we to cook...

Absolutely would not recommend. The prices are really high; I paid over 5eur for ski water with half a slice of orange. Ordered sparkling, but got still. Husband ordered a coke, which never arrived. When I wanted to pay with a card, the owner (probably) got really upset yelling at me that the payment will cost him one euro if it is under 10e. Yelling at a woman with a tiny baby sleeping in her arms is a bad look... There are no signs saying that payment by card is a problem there, so watch out if you only want to get a quick drink. Nice playground though, the one star I gave is for that. Loud music from...

Wir besuchen dieses Restaurant sehr gerne, immer wenn wir in BKK sind. Das Essen ist sehr gut und die Bedienung freundlich ABER was ihr euch zu Sylvester 22/23 geleistet habt, ist unterirdisch! Man lädt zu einem gemütlichen Jahresausklang auf der Waldtratte ein Die Gondel ist an diesem Tag abends für ein paar Stunden dazu in Betrieb. Wir haben ein Saisonkarte, müssen dennoch für die Bahnfahrt € 73 berappen. Hier hätte man eine bessere Lösung für die paar Besucher finden müssen. Oben angelangt, erwartet uns keine stimmungsvolle Atmosphäre mit netter Tischdeko und einem Aperitif bei cooler Hüttenmusik! Ein Tisch wird uns zugeteilt, gefühlte 10 Minuten später wird bereits begonnen das Essen zu servieren - damit man schneller fertig ist. Hat etwas von Massenausspeisung. Aus den Lautsprechern plärrt dazu eine seltsame Playlist in einer Lautstärke die eine Unterhaltung am Tisch unmöglich macht. Das Essen? Schlechteste Qualität. Die Frittatensuppe dünn und und aus der Dose, das Rumpsteak, zäh wie eine Schuhsohle, garniert mir drei Duchesse Kartöffelchen und drei Scheibchen Zucchini. Das Dessert Apfel-Tiramisu. Ein undefinierbarer überzuckerter Matsch in einem Glas - das Menü für € 49 pro Person. Schämt euch - pure Abzocke! So geht Hüttenzauber zu Sylvester...
