s'Kriemandl Skihütte — Restaurant in Bad Mitterndorf

Me and my friend had Käsebröt and it was terrible. The food was just bread and cheese and it was very basic. Maybe it's a traditional food in Austria, but when I searched the internet I saw some delicious breads. So the food on my plate was nothing special. It will be better to try something else in this restaurant because Käsebrot is not top. But you can try something better because you can sit outside and watch the beautiful Alps, have good food with good drink and just enjoy...

Decent cottage for skiers. I recommend coming after 2PM, before the whole restaurant is packed. We just had 2 soups, beer and a tee, but it was enough to keep us going till 4Pm when slopes close. Both soups were very delicious and the pastries were warm and puffy - very fresh. The only thing I’d mention was a little over-too-energetic waitress talking english even if we spoke german. Best restaurant I have visited in Tauplitz ski area, very good food and also one of the cheaper places in Tauplitz ski area. It is located on top of Lawinenstein ski slope (red slope) - so maybe not suitable for beginners, but when it is nice weather, you get great views. Only downside is that it gets crowdy, so in peak times you need to wait for table, but usually not longer than...
