Steirerhütte — Restaurant in Bad Mitterndorf

I want to begin by pointing out the positive responses from the establishment to other, previous negative comments to guard against responses and point out the absurdity of not addressing the criticism in previous comments from customers.

OUR NIGHT AT STEIRERHÜTTE We got a table at 8:00 PM, got the menu about 15 minutes later. Already at this point it was excused that the establishment had a larger party that took up most of the time.

The restaurant had maybe 25 customers. 1 hour later an appetizer came in the form of two bread and butter.

THE BILL 9:80 euros for a non-alcoholic gin 9:80 for an alcoholic gin 7 euros for the table charge for two people 19 euros for the US burger 34 euros for a chef's burger and loaded fries.

all in all 79:60 for two burgers and a plate of fries and Two drinks.

Now to my private opinion: to get the food after 1 hour and 40 minutes of waiting and not even deduct the table fee after receiving criticism about the waiting time - let alone to even accept another party of 2 people, us, when the establishment clearly does not have the capacity to provide good service is unprofessional.

This is especially significant for an establishment that seems to have 20 years under its belt.

The price is too high for the quality and the amount. You can check my reviews, and all of them are honest and transparent, and this is not an exception. Meanwhile you are waiting they bring you some snacks (without ordering them), be careful, without notifying you, THEY WILL CHARGE IT. After ordering a salad of 25€ anybody can expect a great salad, big or at least with something special, but no. A small bowl with an ordinary salad. At the same time, they offer you a side dish for the salad, we accepted, but once again, with a bacon that looked like it was refreezed several times. Watch out also for the wine prices, a cup of glass of house wine (the one that should be the most accessible), 9€, and there was no pricing for this anywhere. Don't misunderstand me, it's not about the prices, it's about lack of transparency on them and the expectations you put on the pricing you state. On top of that, once we have finished, they have the courage to say "The tip in cash please", obligating you to leave a cash. Shameless.

The meat was good, no remarks on that, and that's why I put 1 star and another one for...

Was meine Frau und ich dort erlebt haben … wir waren sprachlos! Wir reservierten einen Tisch und haben uns vorab online nicht die Karte angesehen. Lokal wurde uns von einem Einheimischen empfohlen. Wir kamen und wurden in fie hinterste Ecke in den Winterharten gesetzt wo es kalt war und mal 10 min allein gelassen obwohl nicht viel los war. Ich bat die blonde langhaarige Dame vom Service mich umsetzte zu dürfen da meiner Frau kalt war aufgrund ihrer leichten Bekleidung. Die Dame verdrehte die Augen und gab uns sichtlich widerwillig einen anderen Tisch und schsltete einen Heizstrahler ein. Dann orderten wir zwei Getränke und die Karte. Leider fanden wir tatsächlich nichts was uns zusagte und zahlten sofort um den Tisch natürlich wieder freizugeben . Die Dame meinte sie müsse uns trotzdem das Gedeck verrechnen obwohl wir nichts bekommen haben oder angerührt haben. Ich war so perplex das ich es zahlte! Ich wollte sogar noch Trinkgeld geben doch das hat sie nicht angenommen! Wir lassen gerade rechtlich prüfen ob wir das zahlen mussten obwohl wir nichts bekommen oder konsumiert haben und werden uns weitere Schritte vorbehalten. Eine Frechheit par excellence. Antwort zur vermeintlichen Richtigstellung.Hab mir nichts anderes erwartet als Lügen und Falschaussagen sowie es mich weiter wundert das ein Herr antwortet obwohl eine unfreundliche Dame mit uns zu tun hatte. Professionelle Kritik? Darf man seine negativen Erfahrungen nicht darlegen oder wie seh ich das? Als Gastgeber der in dieser lLiga mitspielen möchte hat man sich nicht zu wundern ob oder es vorkommt das jemand nichts findet auf das er grad Appetit hätte sondern man hat es zu verstehen und zu akzeptieren. Den einzigen Schaden haben die Betreiber denn wir haben nicht mal was angerührt oder gar schmutzig gemacht und ein Tisch der im halbleeren Lokal nach 10 min frei gemacht wird ist für den nächsten...
