Well I always thought that Austria was a land of order and cleanliness. This place definitely put that illusion to bed. The toilet area was clean enough, sink area really needed maintenance. Lack of soap, soaking wet sinks. And the pervasive smell of urine. The shop area sells tourist tat but you can also get bottles of soft drinks for around 2 Euros . The cafe is extortionate! 5 euros for a coffee. No thanks. The salad bar was ok although nobody was making any effort to top up heavily depleted dishes. There was no real people management around the various serving areas so folk kept getting knotted up as we tried to go round in our own directions. The worst bit was the seating area. Utterly stacked with used trays, some were 2 deep. There literally was no clear table to sit at. The restaurant was about 50% full. We cleared our own space at a table, wished it was wiped clean and ate 1 soup, 1 medium salad and 1 orange juice...

If i could give less stars, i would. I do not recommend this to anyone, not even my worst enemy. The food is awful and I mean AWFUL prices not displayed. 3 awful soups are 45€. Fried chicken file with pomes is 38€. The staff are awfully rude. The organization is just awful awful awful. Going to the toilete cost 70 cent per person even if you just spent 150€ there. Only 2 toilet seats in the man’s bathroom with no toilet paper awfully dirty and smells like it wasn’t cleaned for ages. Also there is only one rail guard for entering and exiting all 3 bathrooms so there’s constant problems with even exiting the toilets. Overall an AWFUL place with crazy expensive prices for food thats frozen and just heated up, unprofessional stuff, awful organization, overall cleanliness of the place is awful. Wir fahren seit über 30 Jahren mehrmals im Jahr bei dieser Raststätte vorbei und kehrten jedesmal ein. Das Essen war früher immer recht gut und auch das Personal war sehr freundlich. Seit den letzten 5 Jahren wurde die Qualität des Essens immer schlechter, das Personal unfreundlich, die Tische wackeln schon seit Jahren und auch der Umbau der Kasse wahrscheinlich wegen Personalmangel ist ein Schildbürgerstreich! Dazu kommt das Drehkreuz bei den Toiletten in die man genau 70 Cent werfen muss, der Automat schluckt 1 und 2 Euro stücke ohne diese wieder raus zu geben. Als ich den Geschäftsführer von einer unfreundlichen Bedienung holen lies fragte mich der ob ich nicht lesen könnte, da auf dem Automat nur ein 10, 20 und 50 Cent Stück abgebildet waren und der Automat nicht wechsle! Ich habe kein Problem 70 Cent zu bezahlen, da ich die ja beim konsumieren wieder zurück bekomme, jedoch der Automat der nicht wechselt und das Geld schluckt war der Hammer. Hinter uns bildete sich dann gleich eine Schlange die alle das gleiche Problem mit dem Scheiss Drehkreuz hatten, wir sahen den Chef mehrfach den Automaten aufsperren, wir bekamen zwar unser Geld zurück aber auch beim Bezahlen war die Frau von der Kassa wieder sehr unfreundlich!

Fazit: Die Preise sind wie bereits mehrfach beschrieben eine Frechheit und wir haben nun ein ordentliches Gasthaus mit freundlichem Personal und moderaten Preisen gefunden und werden diese Abzockraststätte nicht...
