Service was good. The menu has a decent kids menu. The portion for adults and children are large. The have daily special that repeat weekly. Although the food was good some items were a bit over cooked or on the salty side. Any side salad or a salad from the menu requires a trip to the salad bar. Most items on the bar were good and fresh with the exception of the egg noodle salad that looked dry. Reservations are recommended but may not be needed. Some locals were there that is a positive indication. They sell knitted hats and head bands by the entrance. Unfortunately this means the kachelofen cannot be used. The place looks great. The service, rather slow. We arrived at 19:15 and the food started coming at about 21 ish. The spaghetti bolognese for kids we ordered had the most weird (in a very bad sense) taste i have ever tasted. I asked the cook why was that, and the answer was that they always make it like that (so my bad). The spetzle mit bratensauce for kids was very salty. For the fries that came along a cheeseburger they used a spice that was salty as hell. So I don't recommend eating bolognese here and I advise ordering the fries without...
