Rübezahl-Alm — Restaurant in Ellmau

Nice terrace with a great view. Despite the fact that here were only a few guests staff was still stressed with our request to have breakfast. We should have made a reservation however we could not get through the day before our visits. The kitchen however managed to put something nice together and so we enjoyed our visit, it was certai ly worth the walk from the village. It's interesting to see that a large facility like Rübezahl easily stresses out. Probably a bit more structure would do well to...

Staff is very friendly and location nice. But the food is horrible. We had the worst Kaiserschmarrn ever in Austria. It came after 2 Minutes and was obviously heated in the Microwave Oven. Usually you have to wait for a Kaiserschmarrn and it's freshly made just for you. We even ordered a new one - what I never did in any restaurant before - and it was again just the same desaster. At least the waitress was really nice - it's not her fault, that the kitchen can't handle traditional...

the service was very good and the location is very nice. But... We wanted to eat only one kaiserschmarn for two. It was served after a few minutes and therefore could not be freshly made. It was only warmed up apparently it had been standing around for a while before. It was not soft and fluffy, but slabbery and a bit chewy. Fresh served, it would be a good meal. Unfortunately, we sent it back. The second was also only warmed up. Too bad! and...
