Burgstallhütte — Restaurant in Flachau

Food became industrial, I was there many times from 1980 until 2015, and food was exceptional, good quality, and well prepared on home made basis. Yesterday, February 1st 2020 we went to repeat good experience and it was complete disappointment. Spareribs= no taste, not properly prepared, cold, tough. We ordered ribs day before, when we came there was no reservation, hardly found place to sit. We sent dozens of friends in past three decades to this place, but yesterday was the last time we went...

The hut (the inside) is sooooo beautiful, with precise attention to details that makes the hut probably one of the most beautiful in Zauchensee. We just missed the famous ribbs and ordered burger, salad, kaserknochen and kurbissuppe instead:) the soup was superb, other food ok, but not excellent. Service is very friendly...
