Had lunch there after the bike tour to the Fuscher Törl. The food was brought to the table very quickly as it was prepared in advance. The service was quick. Unfortunately the liver dumpling was "stretched" with lots of bread cubes, otherwise good soup. The baked chicken fillets with potato salad weren't really convincing, everything tasted industrially prepared. The prices there are of course extreme, which is probably also due to the short operating season and the exposed location. There is also a souvenir shop and it is a popular stop for tourists on the crossing. The panorama is unbeatable and breathtaking.

It is a tourist trap along a tourist path. The food is the worst I had in Austria, the prices are high and the service is slow and inaccurate. The view is the only wonderful thing but it is not their credit. I suggest another stop or bring your own food. It is true that it is not easy at 2450m but some other restaurants without car access in this zone are much better and cheaper. The biggest bottle of water is 0.33lt (very sustainable indeed!) for 4.3 euro. Ps. Only cash!

Some pro's and cons:

amazing view curry Wurst is very good

waitress seemed annoyed when I asked for salt, which was not on the tables (or on the fries). So I guess you should ask that in advance. you get an attitude when you ask why they don't communicate that it's "cash only". After that they tell you it's cash preferred and they actually do have a pin. waitresses ask for tips? If you get snarky service and say no they ask you why, which I find pretty rude. Tips are earned when the service is friendly.

We wanted to have a dessert but decided to skip it and find a place that was not annoyed by...

Food is fine. Prices are on the high side. View from the terras is VERY nice! However the waitress was inpolite. When asked if we could have salt and pepper she sighed and rolled her eyes. When she brought it it was with a cranky face. Later when we wanted to pay(they prefer cash) we got asked if they could add a tip to the price. Based on how they handled the situation with the salt and pepper we declined to add a tip. We got asked the question why we didn't want to add a tip but our explanation was met with constant interuptions. All in all: Food: 4/5 View: 5/5 Service: 2/5(in...
