this was great. my family and my 1.5y old child did a small hike up in the mountains, and we stopped here for lunch. Ordered a small portion of pasta for the little one, some soup, and a Schnitzel to share. At first, we thought that's a steep price for a Schnitzel. But then... well, it's a restaurant up in the mountains, the always cost more. Turns out one portion of Schnitzel with French fries in Frööd means one huge mountain of French fries on a plate and two normal sized Schnitzel balancing on top. We could have skipped the soup because this was plenty. Even the kids' portions are big enough to be sold as an adult portion in other restaurants. Everything was yummy, service was also...

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. Despite the fact that most of the guests were tourists, the waitress refused to speak or even respond in English. She insisted on replying only in German, which made communication unnecessarily difficult and uncomfortable. In a place that clearly caters to international visitors, I expected a more welcoming and accommodating attitude. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and considers offering better service to non-German-speaking guests...

Wonderful Christmas lunch spent here with the family. The decor of the place is already wonderful, this classic combination of wood and modern, with huge windows enjoying a magical view of snowy mountains. The atmosphere inside is so lovely too, staff is extremely friendly and accommodated our need for an earlier lunch for the kids.
