Hartl´s Gletschblick — Restaurant in Gemeinde Bramberg am Wildkogel

I love this place. I have eaten here a few times and the food is amazing. I think maybe it’s the best food in Austria.

Hats off to the chef, the food is very wholesome and feels very homemade! The portions are incredible and I always leave with a full belly. The three schnitzel is too! And the beef, onions and roast potatoes is great too! Quality is top and value for money is also great.

I have a three year old daughter and she is always well entertained by the amazing kids play area here. I’ve even had the odd bounce in the bouncy castle myself 😊

It’s very well located near an amazing flight school Flugschule Pinzgau. You can do an incredible tandem flight off the mountain and they might even land you at the restaurant if you make a special request.

They were having some kind of event, which is fine but they were quite rude and served us drinks without saying that food would take 2+hours. Only after the drinks they mentioned it which made us have to rush the drinks to get to another place. Is ok it you have events but if you cannot manage other customers at least let them know. Edit: To answer the restaurant reply, my review is not about the food, is about the service which was really rude and unprofessional to the 2 tables sitting outside, and to German speaking customers, not even a language issue. Is just about being rude to customers which is for sure not needed. I understand that in high peak is hard to manage all good on time and that is fine, but that does not justify being rude...

It is crazy to me that after so many years in Bramberg we discovered this place just this year! Location is amazing - right at the Wennser Gletscher, so if your kid is doing a ski course there or training, you can nicely chill and have a drink and a bite. It can be super full for lunch if the ski schools are doing their courses there (when weather up in the mountain is not so good and/or the lift is closed), then it is nearly impossible to get a place for lunch.

The staff is super nice, the food is good. We went there 3 times this year, and will return next...
