We did a reservtion on booking for another hotel, which turn to be our worst experience at all in Vienna, not only because this other hotel were located in a creepy and dark location, but because the reception closed at 20hs and we arrived 21hs finding we had no place to sleep that night......We were tired and a bit desperated because we do not speak German and we do not found any hotel sign around. After 23hs we were nearly to sleep in our car.....but suddenly we saw some people in a place that seems a pub, or bar for a beer.....we went back to this place and asked those people if they knew a place to stay for that night.......a friendly guy (serious but helpful and kind) that seems to be the owner tell us they had rooms to rent. "thanks god" we said!!! We stayed there for a night. Reasonable price, not so near the city center if you do not have a car. Continental breakfast included. No wifi. Simple but confortable and clean room. Reception close at midnight so convenient if you arrive late...

Thailändischer Abend. Sind durch Zufall dahin essen gegangen, da wir auf der Durchreise von Kroatien nach Hause waren und in dem Ort übernachtet haben.
Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Einziges Manko ….keine Kartenzahlung möglich.
Die Mitarbeiterin meinte, das auch beide Geldautomaten im Ort defekt sind….wir sollten erstmal bestellen und finden eine Lösung ( Paypal, Sofortüberweisung o. ä. ) Die Kids hatten Hunger und wir waren einfach erschöpft von der Fahrt. Das Essen war sehr reichhaltig und lecker.
Es ging ans Bezahlen und siehe da …man wollte plötzlich nur Bargeld. Klar, wir haben ja nun gegessen…..sitzen ja Quasi in der Falle. Lösungsorientiertes Handeln des Chefs lautete „ nur Bares ist wahres „ Toller Spruch und auch so zeitgemäß. 😉
Für uns hieß es, wir mussten die Kids sitzen lassen und uns um am späten Abend um Bargeld kümmern. Zum Glück, haben wir ja vorneweg nicht mit offenen Karten gespielt. Ein Schelm, wer Böses dabei denkt.
Das Essen war gut, aber in der heutigen Zeit keine Kartenzahlung anzubieten geht gar...
