Read moreThis restaurant by the Heiligenkreuz monastery is very nice indeed. It's big so no worries about getting seats, but I think it's crowded usually. It's raining when I was there so there weren't so many people. The gasthof was still quite full.
The food was great, portion is quite big. I ordered wild boar escalope and it was really good. Meat was tender, it was served with a big pile of steamed veggie and these little fried mash potato. Yummmz!
