Diana’s Schnitzel stöbli — Restaurant in Gemeinde Sankt Gallenkirch

We were hiking in the area and found this beautiful restaurant by the river. The first impression is serene, the garden was so pretty filled with flowers, surrounded but tall trees from the forest along the river close by and you could hear the birds chirping. We got to meet the owner and chef, Diana, she was so lovely. She cooked our meals and oh boy we didn’t leave a crumb on our plates. It was delicious! Everything was so good, the best Schnitzel in the region and she makes a great Aperol Spritz! I had a few in the area and this one hit the spot. We finished with some espresso macchiatos and the foam was too perfection. Thank you for the lovely lunch. We will definitely visit again!...

Not the place where you feel appreciated. I've never met a restaurant owner that was this condescending and rude. We went here shortly after arriving in the area and our first experience was unforgettable: the owner rolling her eyes at us and shouting out "my god" because we did not reserve. And if you dare asking if you could pay with a debit card, you will be in for a similar treatment.

The food is ok'ish, but I'm never coming back to this place...

Diana is a very colorful personality and her stöbli is probably the best place in Montafon to enjoy Schnitzel. Small business at its best! 💪
