Gasthof Pillgrab — Restaurant in Gemeinde Sankt Valentin

Second time staying over in zur Linde and considering the price, this place it perfect! Located closely to Enns and the motorway (not disturbingly close) the hotel offers the charm of a small family run hotel. There is not much of a lobby, you check in directly in the restaurant. Rooms are basic but one can tell someone has tried to make them feel cosy and with an tasteful touch. It is not a hotel where you spend time in the room, go downstairs to the restaurant instead and enjoy great austrian cuisine and wine at reasonable prices. The schnitzel is amazing! The rooms might be a bit noisy due to the yard/trainstation so if you have a sensitive sleep this might not be a place for you. I have slept excellent both times that I have been here and I will definately return!||Breakfastbuffé is small but has everything you need. 1.) Pluspunkt: Wartebereich über den Gastgarten geführt. Weg von der Straße und dennoch mit viel Platz für Abstand im Freien, was eine Maske nicht unbedingt notwendig macht.

2.) sehr gute interne Organisation! Trotz einiger Menschen doch relativ kurze Wartezeit. Für nicht so gut organisierte wie mich auch noch freie Tragemöglichkeiten vor Ort zur freien Entnahme

3.) ausgezeichnete Speisen!!! Klar, man muß die Gerichte nach dem Heimtransport noch einmal kurz in's Rohr zum anwärmen geben, aber die Qualität der Gerichte hat dies sehr gut vertragen. Die Bratkartoffeln, das Gemüse, nichts wurde knatschig oder unansehnlich. Der Hirsch, der Rost braten, beides sehr gut und geschmacklich so, daß man klar einen versierten Koch/Köche dahinter erkennt!!!

P.S. Anbei steht ein Tisch mit diversen Suppen und anderen Gerichten zur Entnahme. Ich kann hier derweilen nur über die Karotten-Ingwer-Suppe und das Rahmbeuscherl sprechen, das allerdings in den höchsten tönen!!! Ich hoffe Corona ist bald vorbei, sost platze ich...
