First of all there were cockroaches in the bathroom! It isn't acceptable in any place. For that reason we didn't even want to eat breakfast. Breakfast itself was one of the worst we seen in many years of traveling. There was no hot food in the morning (no omelette, no sausages or anything), though it's always an option in other places. There were some really hard boiled cold eggs, some stale cereal. When we were ready to go, the host came out and asked if we wanted scrambled eggs. It would have been great, but I doubt someone would want to eat in a place with cockroaches. Also as an earlier review said, who were about the same time as we were. In Vienna, the only accommodations available were really expensive. Then I ended up at the Gasthaus Schwarzer Adler which is really good value for the price (40€/night with breakfast incl.). The location is brilliant: right in the middle between Tulln and Vienna (15 min by train). The train station (Greifenstein-Altenberg) is at a 10min walk from the Gasthaus and there are 2 trains per hour everyday including Sunday. The Gasthaus was really clean and offers lunch and dinner options (delicious and home-made Hungarian cuisine). The breakfast was really nice including sausages/ham/cheese/eggs, honey/jam/butter, tea/coffee and different kind of bread. The staff was also very kind and caring. I really...
